I would say there is a difference between an announcement (as in a deals done) and a statement (updating facts)… all things considered!

ah ok thought it had been mentioned or alluded too that the was going to be an announcement/statement today.

A little deflating i guess but it is what it is and no worse than we have had in the past few months

Agreed but you alluded to "an annoucement" which we all took at face value, now it has changed to a statement.

I think everyone was hoping for a positive statement of intent, not one ruling out buying the club but stating that they’ve not entirely ruled out joining with others if welcomed.

And the talksport stuff, if it was always just your twitter space but to the nation then it would’ve been nice to know that. I think we all expected more than rumours today.

2. A lot of work has to get done by a lot of people, with people on different time zones.

3. KIMURA have clearly stated in their statement. They’re not out, but seeking support of others in a collaborative way of working. I’m sure I’ve already alluded to a group of people working together?

4. Yes, I’ve put myself out there to be shot at. I’m just doing my best to the best of my ability and knowledge.

5. Everything I’ve said in the past 4-5 days has come true. But if you wish to continue to doubt, do so.

think we all need to calm down. Crate (Jack) has told us a fair bit in these past few days, which have all come to fruition, so have a little more trust/faith than just shouting out that he knows nothing more than us. This is a crap time for everyone so lets not argue amongst ourselves

1. That’s not really true, you can announce a bid and consortium which is what you’ve hinted at the past 24h. Ron came out announcing his terms, we expected the bidders to man up and put their head above the parapet too.

2. That’s all well and good, but why the secrecy when Ron’s terms are public?

3. Kimura’s statement is overall negative, it’s shrunk what is possible from leading a takeover to being open to joining one. Maybe the latter comes true, but we have no reason to believe so because any consortium doesn’t back themselves to put out a statement.

4. We appreciate it, but maybe be more clear if “expect an announcement and listen to talksport” is just “expect negative news with a potential silver lining and i’ll discuss it on talksport like a bigger version of twitter space.”

5. Only one thing has come out into the public domain, Kimura ruling themselves out of their original intended takeover, and soon to be a very interesting talksport interview which turns out isn’t anything new at all.

We appreciate your work @CRATE but the over hype here is huge compared to what’s actually being put into the public.
