I interpret the deal as:

£1 to buy the club
£2.5m debt (of which £1m immediate)
£4.5m RH
£2m training ground (that figure might be wrong)

So the whole deal is South of £10m some of which is needed up front.

This would then also require cash to cover a couple of years losses and then maybe £10m to develop RH.
The exciting news is that once Ron makes his serious money on FF this will be chicken feed to him and as he loves the club he'll buy it back and return as our new chairman.

Indeed and the £4.5m is over 3 years.
The training ground is at cost- not sure we know for certain what that cost is and what it includes? Does it include the permanent structures? Temporary structures?? Clarification needed there.

Not exactly. Roots hall can be purchased over 3 years in the statement and I'm sure that the training ground could be leased for x amount of years at a reasonable rate if needed.

Ermmmm. Yes ! Although the land asset isn't great either. If there were profits to be made building around RH i'm sure he would have done that himself. I wonder. Is it just RH, or the land it sits on, aswell ?
Read previous posts. It's Roots Hall and the surrounding land to the boundaries.

Agree, but the new owner will also likely need to invest in the stadium (if redeveloped £5m as a very conservative estimate) and squad.
The club is also losing £1m+ a year - I understand and agree that a new owner will look to limit these losses but this unfortunately will take time.

Is there still more than one party trying to buy the club @ForeverBlue ?

Strikes me Ron is the one who will decide which offer he favours and that decision will be based on what he considers best for him. That may coincide with what’s best for the club but that can’t be taken for granted.
Yes there is.

The statement from Ron last night was full of fabricated lies to try and make himself look better to the fans.

Those figures he quoted are just laughable

Do not trust or believe a word that man says.

I think that's what I said? Some of which is needed up front (ie not all of RH or the debts). The training ground is an option but as you say I'm sure Ron would be happy to lease or for that matter they could lease somewhere else if there was somewhere appropriate.

My fundamental point was that I don't recognise the £19m and all in it was still south of £10m

I imagine it might be higher than this, the training ground work recently cost £2m, but the land wasn’t worthless before that. Ron said he’s happy to sell at cost, that may include the cost of the land he incurred?
Well he’s not in the best position. Can’t be that hard to find somewhere to train and he’s left with that in the middle of a council estate

Hence the last paragraph. I've gone for £10m rather than £5m and a couple of years based on indications from Sherif

Trouble is he is the only one saying anything publicly and he was pretty explicit. Everything else seems to be based on what people are saying without any quotable sources and these range from 3 in play to 1 in. Unless Kimura strike a deal quickly and these figures are true then surely we are finished and the rest is irrelevant?

Exactly ! He's not got to the real heart of the project. If he's happy to write off the debt to his other co.s, why did he charge it in the first place ? There are no accounts to Jul 22 yet, so there is no way of knowing what the current debt is.

Thanks for replying. Two possibilities I think: Either you really do know what your talking about or you’re Ron’s wife.

It may not be that easy, you need all the facilities to go with it, Gym, Medical rooms, Physio rooms, changing facilities.
