Not convinced. It sounds like a staged payment of a purchase to me but I don't know and some are speaking with the sound of authority and I just want to know if it's fact or a view. If today has taught anything on here views can be the polar opposite to facts. It’s rent if the buyer can’t afford RH up front is how I understood it.
Is anyone on here suggesting that new owners build properties on RH, borrow money against RH's land or funding a new ground elsewhere using a future development on RH doing anything different to what Ron has done?
Would you trust another property developer?
Personally I would, they couldn't do much of a worse job than Ron who has been far too stubborn in looking for a large pot of gold that he missed all the smaller ones on the way
Where does it say that?No SEL will be selling the shares it owns in SUFC Ltd and seems that Roots Hall Ltd would be selling the ground back to the club.
Well if there’s no club then there’s no need for a stadium at roots hall or FF…Am i right that he can't build on Roots Hall until there is a new stadium. He can't build a new stadium and houses without a club. The club goes under he is
I guess it depends if the council are pro Southend United or not. That said, more homes where the stadium would have been would please certain peopleThe current planning permission at RH required phase 1 of the FF stadium to be leased to Southend or another club prior to any demolition of the stadium. Planning permission at Boots and Laces requires new training ground to be leased to Southend before Boots and Laces can be started. No flats at Boots and Laces/FF can be occupied until phase 1 of stadium at FF is complete
That might not be verbatim but is roughly it.
Planning conditions can of course be changed - they'd have had to have been if the new smaller FF stadium was passed as it doesn't contain enough seats in phase 1 to pass the conditions.
He’s desperate and so are the councilI know for a fact a buyer was quoted double the 4.5M and was shocked by the price on the statement which will re engage conversation as a matter of urgency!
Where does it say that?
The first bits right . But the second isn’t.Am i right that he can't build on Roots Hall until there is a new stadium. He can't build a new stadium and houses without a club. The club goes under he is screwed
Still hinges on a buyer thoughI feel strangely positive after that statement
That also looses 200k a month!Here is a massive pile of s@#t
That'll be 6million please
I read it as basically pay £125k a month and after 36 months it’s yours…but it’s not clearI read it that there would not be rent payable for the period that it took to complete the purchase payments( 3 years)... as the new buyers would 'own' the site from day 1. ?
Deffo working, this statement would never had come out if not for Saturday…Distressed seller springs to mind. The noise from protests and social media is working. No doubt about it. We must not relent. #MartinOut
You can get 60 big flats in that oneBosh a tower block in the North East corner.....
