I can see this being one final play from Ron to put pressure on whatever is holding the deal up. At least, I really hope that’s the case and something materialises tomorrow. I can’t see any other way of proceeding.

Is an adjournment for a short period, even a week, actually possible from a judge? If there was evidence a deal was almost there and needed a few more days for example, surely a judge wouldn’t wind a company up?

Clutching at straws perhaps!

An adjournment is the most likely outcome if Ron can persuade the judge the sale is still likely.

What the NL do is anyone's guess. I suspect they have some flex in their deadlines but the trust statement wasn't wholly positive on this aspect
 
If it is now not the time for everyone “all of the fan groups” to back a protest in the next 24 hours. Then will it ever be?

People on here who are ITK saying it’s close, it’s positive and within an hour or so RM is saying nope, it’s not and won’t be by Wednesday and we will see what the judge says.

I’m gobsmacked!
