If we're spending money relaying the pitch - does that suggest that HMRC money is


Carl - in your experience what's the importance of getting exclusivity granted for a buyer in any deal? Could a deal progress without exclusivity? If you were in the bidding would you progress without it?

Personally I wouldn’t spend money on DD or even initiate that process until there is exclusivity; normally the signature of HoT is the catalyst for that, but others seemingly differ?

Why would I commit to a substantial 5/6 figure process without any assurance that the HoT are going to be adhered to and followed through to finalisation.

All parties may be under NDA. Yes Kimura has, for their own reasons let certain information out, but let’s be honest most ITK are getting their information from within the club. So if anything, one way or another, neither side could point to the other if they wanted to. And it’s part of the game.

Ron would prefer no period of exclusivity- why? - well he will want to keep open the possibility of another bid, plan B or whatever and time isn’t on his side. In fact he would probably not mind people thinking there isn’t a period of exclusivity even if there is… and here is the issue. Reliable posters hearing one thing or another- remember they are posting what they are being told in good faith.

You would think Kimura would want a period of exclusivity but on the other side Ron might just of said no (maybe he got away with it). I would be surprised but that’s a judgement call for Kimura and whether they believe alternative “bidders” are real.

I have zero inside knowledge-

the court allowed the bank account to be opened so that we could pay the players so that they could not legally walk.

Did the judge also give us the ability to pay other ‘essentials’ I.e relaying the pitch/ gas/ electricity etc.
Should paying to have the pitch done sit higher in the pecking order than paying staff- genuine question- is it “essential “(bearing in mind our position).

Is there a pitch standard that we had to meet that we could not meet without doing it. I totally get we “want to do it” and in a normal year it would. E viewed as absolutely essential it,but I am struggling to see this as “essential “ compared to paying staff.

When ron says the staff will be “rewarded for their loyalty “ or whatever the words were has he actually given them a figure? ( I don’t want to know what it is- none of my business).

It wouldn’t be as bad if they were being updated or were told “ this is what will happen once the deal goes through “ but I am guessing this hasn’t been done?

Just as an aside, and this comes from my experiences outside of football, I’m less concerned about the next court date than I have been about the previous - there’s clearly now a much more compelling case to be put forwards for adjournment, even if all I’s aren’t dotted and t’s not crossed.

The limitations on spending re players, accounts, legals was only until the follow up hearing where further evidence was provided (e.g. letter from NL). I believe the accounts are now completely unfrozen?

It is likely as essential as playing staff, ground grading includes the pitch - to put into context, at NL level any artificial pitch has to be equivalent to FIFA international standards, and grass has to be immaculate.

Without a stadium receiving ground grading, we have big issues.

Also, even if it just scrapes through, it needs to survive through the season. It is quite literally the most important asset for a football club, the reason why football clubs spend a ridiculous amount on water rates, etc.

Sunny periods without rain, ice, heavy rain etc was the bane of my life…

In the end, we all want the same outcome and no amount of speculation or rumours, both true and fabricated are going to change the outcome. At the end of the day, most of us have zero influence on how/who/when anything happens. We can only hope for positive news as soon as possible.
Could be worse, we could still be waiting for an interested serious party, and it seems we have at least 2.
It's all going to turn out good in the end, then we can all get back to arguing about who was to blame for a rare loss they cost us winning the league by 10 clear points and if we should have onions in the burgers or not.
Btw, that last paragraph is not from anyone ITK. Just pure optimism.
