Simon Jackson is a decent lad from what i can remember. I met him a few times through friends about 15 years or so ago. Obviously he was a young man then. Believe he is a Liverpool fan, but he is definitely a Southend boy, think he went to SHSB.
Wasn’t that where Ron was seen evening before the latest court case? Or maybe coincidence.

Now it’s made the press it seems this could be close now.

He did indeed meet them last Tuesday afternoon. Ron said as much outside court.

Yes - some will know him from earlier school days as well. There are a number of connections here which make sense.
Very early days though so let's see how things play out.

He is a passive investor in a mobile phone company and does their commercials. Football genius I would imagine. As Ray would say, 'behave yourself'.
At the end of the day I couldn't care less about other clubs and their investors. Just hope there is some Those words are banned about these new owners and questions need to be asked about their input.

My mate used to work for a guy called Gary Petitt who is apparently great mates with Ray and started a sports management agency with him. Might be putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5 but this guy has money and I notice Chris Phillips is following him on twitter

Yes he is involved, he is mentioned in the article.

Matt Slater has been in direct contact with at least one of parties interested in buying the club, at least as far back as late March. He confirmed this in person at Altrincham away.
I hope so, it’s be nice to see an light appear at the end of the long & dark tunnel.
