LeedsSUFC. I didn't do it, as my wife was in the car. I have some respect and manners when my boss is around.

I have a number of set skills. One of them is tail gating someone and giving them some abuse.

Ron is a middle lane hogger going 60 miles per hour on the motorway. If any one will cause a crash he be him my old son!! I left him in the dust going 90 mph!

saying how you saw RON driving home reminds me of a true story, many many years ago back in the 70s i was courting a very attractive young lady , Her mother wasnt to keen on me as a son in law im afraid , and was always nagging about i drive to fast ,So a time came when she required a lift into Melbourne which was 25kms away approx, off we went my GF sitting beside me and the mother in the rear seat, we hadnt gone but 2 kms when she complained im driving to fast and to slow down, 3 lane either way highway i went straight into the middle lane slowed down to 5 km an hour and thats how i drove all the way into Melbourne. Needdless to say GF mother caught the train home and shortly after gf broke up with me .If i had seen RM driving home thats exactly what i would have done got in front of him slowed down to 5km an hour and maintained that all the way ,if he changed lane i would have too .

Brilliant. Thats really advanced the conversation around the sale of the club.

I'm not a fan of these posts advocating violence. Tensions are high, but some of these posts are beyond unpleasant.

To be fair, he got his knickers in a twist. Having a go at me for something I didn't do. I admit, if my wife wasn't in the car it be a different outcome.

Then we have others suggesting someone else does ''something' about it. Or threatening to target Rons wife or children......From the safety of keyboard.

Yes the position we are in is embarrassing but now made worse as far to many grown men are allowed to spout the same endless c**p in public.

When I compare Wimbledon fans talking to some of us Shrimpers about their situation about 6/7 years ago. They were sensible, united and had decent plan......Read through the utter nonsense on here ad you realise why the protests aren't well supported.

If this posts offends you then tough. Your the reason so many are staying silent or not taking part.

I certainly agree on the violence front. Most of that will be frustration that would never lead to action but this has become a tinderbox. I don't agree on the wife and son though, unless I've missed any violence suggested. That's just accountability. If you take over ownership of the company it's your responsibility. Therefore I think that protests against them are as legit as Ron. One might argue that it's no longer really Ron's responsibility and he is a figurehead chairman.

The Mods are up against a constant battle atm trying their best to control things on here, you would be suprised how much gets deleted. Most people are at the end of their tether with what has been rambling on for the past 5 months re selling the club, frustrations and sheer despair spill over on here with what the fans, club management and staff feel when they are being led down a dark alley atm with zero communication about how we as a club have a future.

Of course some peoples reactions will be worse than others, that's life, we do not condone violence in any manner but when you have a forum with members who have little chance to discuss the actual football side of the club without some other topic being more paramount atm things happen.

Please do not lay any blame at the Mods, who give their time freely, they are doing a fantastic job right now just keeping a lid on things.

On a serious note though, many people are just a fraction away from breaking point, and something is going to snap soon.

If we do get deducted 10 points, and/or are still under an embargo after tomorrow, I really do feel that may be the catalyst to open the floodgates.

Hopefully that scenario wont play out, as it could get very ugly.

Completely off-topic, but this reminded me of when I attended a Boxing Day game a few years ago at the Farmers' in the Cloud Cuckoo Land Stadium. For some reason, they were frisking all the SUFC supporters (even 60 year old, old men like me) and they remarked on the pen knife in my pocket. Now, I carry this everywhere as it's very handy, and had never had any problems with it at any ground I had ever visited before, and remarkably, I had always managed to resist the temptation to stab anyone with it.

Anyway, I was told I would have to hand it over and collect it afterwards from the office. "Sod, that" I thought so I left the queue and went and placed it behind a fence post a little way away for easier collection after the game.

Following the game, of course, I couldn't remember which post I had put it behind and my searching garnered the interest of a lady Plod and her male companion. She asked me what I was looking for and, absent-mindedly, I said "I'm looking for my blade" (as I laughingly referred to the small item). She then went into meltdown and started quizzing me vigorously, somewhat to the embarrassment of her oppo.

Finally tiring of this silliness I asked her if she was accusing me of, "NOT being in possession of an offensive weapon?" This brought proceedings to a swift conclusion.

And my "blade" is probably still there in the long grass to this day. I've since got a new one, though.
