We're on a run of good news. Safety cert in place. Pay received. Good work done by the fans.
On top of which I heard today the players got some more match minutes in a 60 min game at arsenal. The pitch has had more treatment with stuff that should make it 'knit' faster and should make a huge difference before saturday. To top it off, I heard the Aussie potential purchase is apparently quite a long way down the line and very hopeful. I realise that's meaningless until it's done and we've heard it before, but we're on a roll of good things at the moment, and just sharing what I heard.

The Aussie thing is it just investment tho with Ron still at the helm or is it a full on takeover ?

Is that an Aussie "purchase" or "investment" mate?

Unfortunately I don't know the answer to that, but whichever they're doing it's going well apparently! Obviously id prefer it to be a comp!ete buy out rather than investment. Probably hear more during the week. I also heard it was important to get the game going ahead at home Saturday to get much needed funds in. I think we all realised that though.

So he has done again got the stadium sorted for getting safety certificate cost him nothing as the waviers turned up to help him

Got the players paid

Wait for the shrimperstrust statement saying we should all get behind ron

He has won hands down and all of the 5000k plus who turn up at the hall on saturday have tipped their hats to ron. Their hero their man

Next a statement from laurence and collymore
Saying support the team not the protest
He has got all of you tickled by the privates

why not stop screwing around and open a bank account and start collecting the
money and buy the effing thing -

i think we could prob have the dollars in a week ..

do a share offer thing ...
Tell you what. Open a Go Fund Me account. Something like Save Southend United.

I’ll donate - providing, if you don’t raise enough to make RM an offer he can’t refuse - you donate any money raised to the Shrimpers Trust.

Now if you’re not capable of doing that, best you pipe down a little.

If it’s going well and engaging Ron I’d suggest the worst ! You’re a top fella and that’s not a dig at you
