Lol dream on son! First team football...wasn't it Knight that was keeping fat boy trundle out of the Swansea team at the back end of last season. Love him to come here but I cant c it being anyone like Sharp, Trundle or Knight...that would be too amazing lol! Prove me wrong Tilly..prove me wrong!

Yep we did bid for him but he choose Swansea as he thought they would be playing Championship Football... How wrong was he...
Plus he's a london boy so maybe a move back this way and better football would tempt him.

I'd never want that jumped up arrogant sh!t head (Leon Knight). Talented as he is, even he is a stretch too far for Tilly's man management.

Besides, I'd rather him be at Swansea next season in time for there visit to Brighton after his comments of "I'm delighted Brighton were relegated" last season.

good attitude! he has only just signed for them! he was a problem child at brighton also if this is true.

we don't need players who think there is an I in team!
Weren't we rumoured to have bid for Knight in January? He opted for "bigger" club Swansea IIRC.
this same website links him to swindon town?

Can't see it being Leon Knight. He's ahead of Akinfenwa in the pecking order at Swansea.

I mentioned Akinfenwa on this board ages ago. He would be a good addition IMHO. Would work with Freddy really well.

Izzy Mcleod of MK Dons would be a major coup.

Watch this space!!

I agree with the Akinfenwa shout...thought he played well alongside Trundle at the Hall. Big strong striker to hold it up for Freddy and used to being a squad player at Swansea. Within our wage and transfer capabilities. Realistic target.

Izzy Mcleod or however u spell it...another dream i'm afraid. Now technically a League 2 striker but I can c the championship big guns vying for his signature.

Yes, Akinfenwa would be superb. He played well in the play-off final when he came off the bench. Although his penalty miss was shocking.

And yes i agree he did play well at the Hall last season.

Akinfenwa for Southend!!!!

Akinfenwa would be a good addition, as would Hayter - although the latter just signed a new contract so he's unlikely.
Neil Harris is a donkey and way past it, and McLeod was at one point going to Wolves for 1.3 million so somehow I don't think we can afford him...

How about David Graham from Huddersfield? Quality alround player, who probably could make the step upto the Championship.

Although he struggled at Sheffield Wednesday...

Graham was on loan at Huddersfield at the end of last season from Sheffield Wednesday, I don't think he has signed for Huddersfield permanantly.

good shout, could be a fair signing - but didnt set the world alight when in Champs before IIRC....but we need to remember that in an ideal world this new striker will be only as back up to the 65 goal a season partnership of Eastwood & Ricketts, so is unlikely to be a huge name or a Billy Bigtime.

Abbott from Uddersfield would be a good shout

and it would stop him scoring against us in the future

True he only scored a couple of goals in his 20 appearances for Wednesday, but he undoubtedly has talent. And we all know how good Tilly is in getting the best out of underachieving players..
