1) The whole financing package, is it viable?
How can the whole package be viable if the difference between £6m & £3.5m makes the marginal difference to that viability?

Isn't the entire deal worth £80m+? If £2.5m is that crucial then the entire thing must be hightly precarious.

Can someone tell me why if this doesn't go through then the club would be screwed?

Well Sainsbury's support would disappear and with no future at Fossett's Farm, how long will Ron's money go... It could be the straw that breaks the camel's back. That's my thinking anyway.

Basically this. Ron has nothing. He is gambling with other people's chips and has been for years. Unfortunately it's all on a promise of this development happening. If it doesn't, there will be a small queue forming from investors for their money back. Money that Ron doesn't have.

Latest chant heard from within the Cahmber to the tune of the Conga:

"His cleaners he will ravish,
And his hair is lavish
Ron Mar-tin-i, Ron Mar-tin-i"

Well other than having no new stadium. Sainsbury's owning RH. Circa £8m owed to them in advance payments. Many more creditors owed and chasing their money. A chairman declared bankrupt and no money to keep the club afloat, it's all good....

I take it that includes Mr Sainsbury himself !

thats the key thing he hasn't got any money of his own well next to zero and never has had. do you know he funds wages in the end with slimy deals elsewhere nearly on all monthly bases because he and the club do not have enough money. this month and next maybe ok because of wembley money. as i said on sunday or monday councillor walker tells me the decision can go either way.

Good post jai. He is playing with fire with mostly other peoples/parties money. The final part of Jai#s post is what I meant by could this be what Bernie , Chris and James were alluding to?? I know someone replied earlier saying they could have made it up but I don't think they would for a second.

I'd imagine the debate will go on for a while. Whatever the decision is, it'll be a close call.
