I don't understand the Corr bashing either. I wasn't expecting much when he arrived, but for me he's looked the most capable targetman we've had in many a year. He does the job far better than Revell or Harrold ever did.

No, I expected loads of cards, not much skill and few goals. He's let me down on the cards.

Not sure I'd choose him ahead of the other two you mention.

Also, he doesnt at this stage seem to be this ill tempered, red card waiting to happen type of player. He has been fouled constantly and at times the foul has gone the other way, but he hasnt shown any dissent or been aggressive towards other players. i really like him and i think if we all got behind, like we did at bradford (probably his best game) then i think he could get us 15 goals or so this season. he also works very hard for the team. him and jarvis could just be the answer. the problem has been that no 1 has really got beyond him to get on the end of the flick ons, blair isnt that type of player, patterson lacks pace and spencer normally runs in the opposite direction, although i dont remember corr and spencer actually starting a game this season as a front 2. UTB

And they did what exactly for us, goals no, skill no, effort maybe on revells part but not harrold. corr has shown all of this so far, what does he need to do more than he already has done to be given a chance.

Okay, point taken, he has pace, something that is lacking, I agree.

On Saturday Corr's back goes, and Blair gets injured. PS has shafted himself by alienating the other strikers, that's the point I was trying to make.

Unless we now sign another good striker, I just can't see the reasoning?

League two is full of centre halfs that will be frightened by pace, look at ours over the last couple of years..

And anyway , this lad is only here for a month!!, he's hardly going to effect the season in what, max 6 games??

Sorry, don't believe that for a moment, it runs completely against PS's philosophy concerning loan players. If things work out for both parties, it wouldn't surprise me at all, if he was here for the whole season.

Not sure why everyone is all the sudden feeling the love for Patterson and Spencer. Neither has done anything this season and if you can't force your way into our attack then you can't be much cop

don't get all the resentment as this lad is 18. Sawyer Hrk and stanislaus were all teens and all did a hood job for us.

Why does everyone think Jarvis will partner Corr? Granted it's the partnership I'd like to see but surely Sturrock will still be playing regularly me thinks.....

As well as the pace that this young lad has to burn there is another attribute he has that I think we desperately need in this league. And I quote from PS at the Q&A, 'Another reason I like this lad.......................he's a dirty bas*ard'

6 foot tall, 13 stone, bags of pace and apparently an attitude and willingness to intimidate defenders. Personally I can't wait to see him play.

As has been said before. PS & TW work with the squad on a daily basis and know whether a player is giving enough or playing well enough for them to push for a place in the starting eleven. Obviously some are not doing enough and we have to respect that PS & TW know more about this game and what it takes to build a successful team than we could ever hope to.

With the surname Jarvis he is bound to be brilliant.

Let's not get on his back if he doesn't score within two minutes.

Can't really comment on how good he will be as have never heard of him to be fair , but i can't help but think that getting out of league 2 can be doen with a formula and sturrock knows this formula and has proved that before . You need your players to be able to hand there selfs at this level as it is a physically tough standard to play at , by having a few old heads and a youngster with pace and a phyiscal presence then i welcome this addition .

We must be able to put a team out that won;t get intimidated by league 2 centre halfs and corr and Jarvis sound like it could be a CH's nightmare day .

As for knocking the other boys down teh pecking order ....well im all for that type of compition , i want players here that want to fight for their place and work on their game if they have been left out , it just seems that they are obviously not impressing on a day to day basis and need to up their game if they want to impress.

Exactly. And we did perfectly fine with Corr and Sturrock today - they worked beautifully together to make the first goal. Paterson and Spencer not travelling was an irrelevance. How can anyone comprehend fans coming on here and putting on their sackcloth and ashes when we sign another striker?! Ridiculous.
