This is almost unbelievable for a professional football club. Presumably the club are advertising for one but probably the number of applicants are few, who wants to join an organisation that has difficulty in paying its staff.

But the net wouldn't survive without a load of unsubstantiated gossip. You have to remember it's like pub talk was. 80% bollocks that got worse the more drinks that were drunk but 20% would be bang on. And in the morning you could not remember a thing.
I remember overhearing a conversation at Roots Hall that we were definitely going into administration on Friday. No ifs buts or maybes. Definite. This was about 20 years ago. It didn't happen but who knows it might have been complete crap or we might have come pretty close. We'll never know.

Maybe we cant afford a physio at the moment.

Things like this show why we are a non league club as we are not professional enough

It's part and parcel of being a SUFC fan, expecting the worst. In theory then you can never be truly disappointed. Jeez, imagine rocking up for the first game with NOTHING to moan about. Seriously ... the fact we are struggling with cashflow is no surprise really, is it. And when that happens, because of recent years, people assume the next news to be worse news. Personally, I think we're a few signings shy of what we need (and the leap to thinking it's a financial reason isn't a great one...) but I'm mildly disappointed, not devastated- and I will be there supporting the boys from start to end.

Thanks for the feedback @kentblues. The reasons for moving this thread to here have already been explained earlier in the thread and you've made your view on it's positioning clear on more than one occasion in this thread so we are well aware.

I believe and I say 'believe' that Paul was never a long-term solution and was helping out at the end of last season.

The club advertised a head of medical back in June so from that i'd imagine they received notice of the current Physios intentions to leave then. Notice period may now be up and this the removal of the name from the whos who section of the website
