WhatWhy is RM getting the blame for this (if true), the last time I heard he's stepped back and we now have a CEO who runs the club. I haven't seen his name mentioned.
I've been saying for years at certain times, that either players, or staff have not been paid. I've said many times we can't afford the basics. Some chose not to believe. Even some accommodation for some players wasn't paid for in the past. We have turned a massive corner mainly thanks to Stan and Tom, but as you know all know, the club is still in a very bad position off the field.Staff weren't being paid before TM came in, even if TM was handed reins, it's quite obvious RM is trying his best to find his way through and steer the ship himself still, and that shows with the staff not still not being paid.
Its not about July's wages though is it, it's about the June wages that haven't been paid, it's about the May wages that got paid very late, etc etc, it cannot keep happening, who's to say they will even be paid on time come July, August, September and so on, we've seen people not get paid mid-season before. We've shipped out a lot of high earning playing staff - that may mean the playing staff budget is lower this season than last, and will assist in the cashflow from July onwards.
That's the way it should normally work if the CEO has the control of a CEO!You don't know if RM isn't meeting his responsibilities.
When I left the Army I joined Network Rail as a Manager, If I wasn't getting paid, the first person I'd look at for reasons why would be my CEO not the Gov....... The CEO holds the purse strings.
RM seems to be an easy target right now, if this is true.
I'm looking at reasons why the wage bill maybe easier to meet from July onwards. And why new signings may not have any impact on the ability of the club to pay wages in June. Its not about July's wages though is it, it's about the June wages that haven't been paid, it's about the May wages that got paid very late, etc etc, it cannot keep happening, who's to say they will even be paid on time come July, August, September and so on, we've seen people not get paid mid-season before.
its always the same posters too. until there is evidence that this has happened then it should be a non starter of a conversation. I am sure many clubs struggle over the summer months but i remember last month when the embargo bashers were shouting loud that one said he knew numerous staff at the club who hadnt been paid but people who worked for the club and others who had family/friends who worked there said they had been paid too. Its probably all started because Fonguck is training with us but not been made official yet and people are putting 2+2 together and getting 5.I'm looking at reasons why the wage bill maybe easier to meet from July onwards. And why new signings may not have any impact on the ability of the club to pay wages in June.
As other posters have said we don't even have any evidence wages are late!!!
Which club staff haven’t been paid?
2 members of my family work there and they have been paid
Can someone clarify which groups of staff haven't been paid? Is it the groundstaff like last time?I can confirm not all staff have been paid on time the same as last month, believe what you want to believe but these are facts
Can you provide evidence to prove that though?I can confirm not all staff have been paid on time the same as last month, believe what you want to believe but these are facts
And as I've asked, and what isn't being answered is what do the sponsors hope to achieve? If you accept the Shrimpers Trust are able to offer limited assistance even though they talk to the club regularly, what do you think will be different? RM is too thick skinned to care.I can see you are getting exasperated at the unhappy situation we find ourselves in . If its
any comfort I can assure you that the rising tide of anger felt by so many at the club will
be factored into our discussions next Wednesday . Unfortunately , there will always be a few people that are never going to accept anything is actually wrong. They bury their heads in sand and hope the problem will rectify itself without any firm action being taken . The Shrimpers Trust people are highly respected by sponsors for the good work they do but I am not sure they will be able to offer much assistance in actually changing the dynamics of this particular situation .
Whoever stir up sh*t need to prove it.Can you provide evidence to prove that though?
And how would you suggest they “prove it”?Whoever stir up sh*t need to prove it.
@Shrimperstrust is this something you are aware of and can discuss options for resolution?
