Apologies Sir.
My jesting was just a pun on the word 'case' and was in no way meant to make fun at your loss , which as you say will be quite expensive to replace.

Dont worry about Barna, he must be loaded, surely he is sponsored by the Guardian?

If the worst thing that happened in a high tension local derby, was a few chairs getting snapped during goal celebrations. The Police will be very pleased. Even the seats up the back that were still in place were absolutely f*****

The police might be but they don't foot the bill for the broken seats!

I think its pretty lame to defend breaking seats because they were flimsy. If one of our fans set fire to Orients ground would we defend them by saying "the whole place was flammable anyways..". Classy, real classy.

If Orient damaged some of the away end at Rootsie and defended themselves by saying it was old and fragile dont you think we would be a tad miffed?

Reminds me of Southend Pier and Forest Fans...

Impressed you've managed 12 pages on this.

I think you hold the record for most seats broken by away supporters this season, so for those of you who think it was clever, give yourselves a gold star.

At least you didn't stoop to Doncasters level and smear **** across the walls. Now that was classy .......

It is an absolute disgrace and the people who ripped the seats out are not football fans, just mindless yobs. I have been watching football home and away for some 55 years and have never felt the need to rip out my seat my seat was still intact when i left the match last night so they could not have been of that poor a quality.
If the club discover who were responsible they should be banned from matches for several years and made to pay for the damage they have done to Leyton Orient's property not to mention the damage to our club's reputation.

Wholeheartedly agree with this Jersey

I didn't think we came over in the best way last night. Outside the ground I saw a ground of youths throwing a can of beer on the floor... Not the worlds biggest crime, but very pointless.

Last time I post on this ridiculous thread (hopefully), some people overreact in such a crazy way it actually makes me cringe at people who think they live in such a peaceful world. YES breaking chairs is ridiculous if deliberate but does it warrant some of the comments on here!!!!

As for this comment above - it just sums up for me how precious some people are. There are people dying, people losing jobs and wars happening....if a few broken seats upset you this much, maybe try and get some perspective of life, it's not the end of the world. Heaven forbid these people ever went to another higher profile Derby match, I personally think that our supporters are very well behaved imho

Getting fed up about the ******* seats **** em **** London **** orient poke your seats up your ****ing arse and SUFC fans story worrying about our gay reputation I don't care what club thinks we are a fluffy pink gay pride brigade I want to be known for our passion and our voice not how we leave the toilet seat up!!!!!!

Close the thread

THE END .... It's been emotional

Anyone know the extent of the bill for the damaged seats, couldn't be more then the Southend team bus that was smashed up after our last visit there surely?two sides to a coin people,my point being every club as it's idiots including Orient,so stop acting the hard done by it's boring.
