Wait till SZ start taxing members who have only been on here for 2+ months.
You will be fu**ed then.
You are wasting your time as nothing will or should ever change. Your viewpoint is strange and somewhat age-ist and actually very boring. They could give the discount to those recipt of universal credit or pension credit? I'm recipt of neither
I suggested payment by instalment in the other thread at 9.15 last Friday morning. I want all the credit if, and when, it happens.Because people don't fit into nice little round pigeonholes.
And just to clarify, the Club had tried to get payment plans in place before launching the STs but it's not as straightforward as you would think.
I’m sure they did Kay and it’s appreciated. It’s .. to me .. something we should be able to offer and it can bring in lots more season ticket holders. But I appreciate it’s not easy to sort.Because people don't fit into nice little round pigeonholes.

Yes. I’ve been on here since 1906Have you lot got tattoos with how long you've been posting on sz or something
You’re not famous, you are just weird.I suggested payment by instalment in the other thread at 9.15 last Friday morning. I want all the credit if, and when, it happens.
I have lots of good ideas, that is why I am famous.
Chris, your Mum likes me.You’re not famous, you are just weird.
Pete you could have told me about the helicopter. I'm still travelling to away games by car and it can be a nightmare finding a parking space. Oh how you have changedI agree but it's historic as we had a senior's discount at 60 for a long time. No idea why & to be honest as I paid game by game I paid full price for a couple of years until I realised it was 60.
I'm now a multi-millionaire pensioner who flies in for home games from Maldon by helicopter & goes to away games on my Learjet, tough landing that near Braintree I can tell you! Just thought I'd mention that for a couple of people who think we over 62's are taking the pish by having a discount.
But there are some pensioner's living on the state £12k. £420 is 3.5% of that which is a hefty chunk for a hobby that happens on 23 times a year.
At 66, I'm grateful for the discount. Paid for nearly every home game since 1968 and the saving has gone towards season tickets for two grandsons. Just hope they get the bug and are still at the Hall in 2082.look at it as taking care of the elderly , some of these over 62's have had season tickets for over 30 years as well and been supporting the club since the 1960's
10% at iceland? Now your just taking the pi ss...When you reach a certain age you get a state pension because you have paid into the system for many years, you also get a bus pass, all sorts of free vaccinations, medication if you are unfortunate enough to need it and even 10% off at Iceland on a Tuesday - that is the way it is. Enjoy your life before all of this is relevant to you.
Move to the NB. You know it makes sense! We moved to the North for the last few games...from the west.
We've had our seats for years in the west right next to tbv.
Those we know who sit round us said the atmosphere was not good once tbv relocated. Now theres about 12 of us deciding whether or not to move.
The sticking point is my dad...he drives down from Ipswich for every home game is getting on a bit and not sure if standing for the 90 in the North is the way to go. Also he's 6 foot 3 and the leg room in the North is shocking.
For me no question....Move to the NB. You know it makes sense!
Ok, update for all - the Club are investigating the possibility of some kind of pay in instalment package but nothing confirmed as yet.
Ageist lol I if my point Is strange why have I not had one decent reason for the blanket discount for over 62s remaining. Single parents subsidising pensioners that can afford the full price doesn't make sense and if you took some time to think about it you'd realise there must be fairer ways of distributing discounts so the people that receive them need them not just over 62sYou are wasting your time as nothing will or should ever change. Either that or the current way benefits you so you don't careAgeist lol I if my point Is strange why have I not had one decent reason for the blanket discount for over 62s remaining. Try to look at it another way....assuming that you are much younger than 62, hopefully you have many more years of watching the mighty Shrimpers than those in this over 62 price categoryReally can't see what's so controversial about suggesting that if the discount was targeted at the ones that need it or they made the overall adult season ticket price cheaper it would help more deserving people rather then just the ones that need it that are lucky enough to ne over 62
