£20m in exchange for a rumoured £300m-£500m project isn't really that much to ask. Plus, he is now not building a new stadium, something he said he would take a £20m hit on. It was rumoured to cost £40m. So he was always going to lose £20m anyway. However, he would have had to pay all the debts off and fund the club and fund Rootshall until FF stadium was built. He doesn't need to do that with this deal.

With this deal, he isn't personally paying another penny until FF housing is built.

Plus with the stadium it's bound to go over budget, let's say conservatively it costs 50% more, that's £60m, so would mean losing £40m if he'd committed to selling it for £20m.

As long as Ron's confident in the assurances (binding or otherwise) that he'll be able to build on FF if he pays SUFC £20m then it's a total no brainer.
 
Personally I hope that any deal in the future where a certain Rat 🐀 is involved is renaged upon by all other parties. SCC renage on planning permissions and the f'ing $hit gets some of his own 💊.

The man needs to be driven out of Southend and Essex. He has no right to have any financial dealings with anyone anymore.

Remove the golden egg and the chance to develop FF.

Tbh i dont really give 2 ****s what he does after. If hes gone and we get good owners and 20m for a spanking new roots hall.
