The £20m from Ron is the bit that worries me, we know from experience Ron often promises money and then never actually pays it and that's a lot of money. Hopefully if it's true then we've made sure he can't weasel out of it.

IF this was the deal...

Is the £20m actually new money? 🤔. Could it be Ron writing off debts owed to his companies etc.. He likes to quote the £25m of his own money blah blah.. Could it be £20m minus £5m for RH?

It would also be interesting to know if RH and training ground are going to be owned by the club or again separately owned by another JR company? Meaning that at some point in the future we could end back where we started with a club that has no real assets.

So essentially, if this all goes through. Its the council that have saved the day allowing Ron to build without the need for a stadium.

Where has the figure of 20 million come from? I dont think any of us would have baulked at 2 milllion...

This is likely the stumbling block. Guarantees need to be in place
I’m sure if Ron gets guarantees from the politicians he can provide same back to back…
There is likely an element of shared risk- if Ron, and by extension the club, get screwed by the politicians then may for them the dildo of consequences arrive unlubed as they say.
As has been said it’s in everyone’s interests FF happens.

Ron now doesn’t have to build a stadium that would have cost much more.
