The Business
GoDoDtS is coming to her first full game on Saturday. She has seen the Friendly at Eastbourne and an Under 10's SUFC match but this is her first game and were both excited as its DoDtS as I said I would treat him to Fish and Chips before the game.

I was wondering if the outcome of the game effects your likelyhood of coming back. So my question is what was your first result of your first Blues game.

Mine was a crushing 6-2 defeat vs Notts County. Geoff Pike getting a hatrick for them I think.

2-1 win against Plymouth Argyle.

Arrested for letting off a flare when we scored the winner.

Mine was the 2-1 defeat at home to Derby back when if we had won the game we would have topped the Championship (or Division 1 as it was known in those days!) This was circa 1992 I think.

We beat Stockport County 2-0 on Halloween Night, 1980. Stood on the North Bank with my Dad and it was bloody freezing. Terry Gray and Keith Mercer scored.

Friday October 27 1967 Home to Aldershot in Div 4 Drew 1 1 Phil Chisnall scored and Robins DB says there were 12,101 in attendance

Sat Dec 16th Home vs Chesterfield was my first game. We won 3-2 and it was one of the most entertaining matches i have been to. End to end all game and i think Ben Abbey popped up to get us the win! The spirit of RH has kept me bringing me back ever since!

2-2 home to charlton. Steve grit/curbishley were joint managers and one of them got sent from the bench after kicking off. Cracking game!

Lost 1-0 at home to Sheffield United, April 1984. Late breakaway goal.

Got relegated to Division Four at the end of the season with Exeter, Scunthorpe and Port Vale.

As an aside, the crowd of 4,971 that day was comfortably the biggest of the season for what is now the equivalent of League 1. To put that ion context, we were getting worried about our crowds dipping down to that level last season in the division below.

Happy days.

75/76 season and a 3 - 3 draw with Port Vale at home. Seem to recall we were leading 3 - 0 at half time?

My first was against Port Vale on a Tuesday night in either 95 or 96. Mike Marsh scored 2(?) and we won 2-1

For me though, it wasn't about the result, it was that I actually had a great time.
