All I can really say (by the way I understand) is that it all depends on who reps you! If people with little rep pos rep you, you're only going to get a little + rep from them. In your circumstance, it looks like 2 people have repped you when they didn't have much + rep and then someone with a hell of a lot of pos rep has neg rep'd you, so you're in the red.

That doesn't make sense, so I'm going to shut up.

I don't think ANY of us have a problem with the members site but clearly it is used to badmouth certain posters at that time and to get people to give them neg rep which is very, very sad. You can't POSSIBLY say anything about a member of SZFC, oh no that would be a HEINOUS crime.

You can deny it all you like but the fact of the matter is that you've got a very, very well respected member of this board of some 12,000+ posts who is well in the red for no apparent reason other than speaking the truth - however it seems in this day and age speaking the truth isn't accepted in society (and certainly not on SZ).

To be very honest, I couldn't care less about my own rep status. The whole system has been abused so much since its inception that it could never be taken seriously (although I don't think it was ever intended to be anyway). If it's not the owners / moderators artificially enhancing their own reputation levels then it's the groups like the SZFC clique patting each other on the backs or ganging up on other users for their own sordid amusement. But that's only me. There are others who might not be so immune to such bullying tactics and that can only be bad for the SZ community as a whole. Therefore my issue is not so much with my own rep status - I honestly don't give a toss - but ensuring that there is a 'level playing field' for everyone to enjoy the system, whether it be serious appraisal or otherwise. If some are not prepared to play fair (which is still very apparent) then the owners need to consider removing the system all together.

In my opinion Honorary membership should be awarded to people who have given something to that organisation and such the organisation want to recognise this and give them something back.

Seeing as I scored the first ever goal for the team that would become SZFC I don't think this goes far enough.

I think a life sized bronze statue would be more appropriate.

Incorrect. I did not give you "red rep" regarding Foran. Why?! Because after numerous comments from you recently on this boards, I know you would start moaning about the SZFC repping you, nothing to do with your views on Foran are OTT and IMO complete tripe. Had it been any other poster who made those consistantly negative comments, then they would have received "red rep". However, as you moan so much about it on here when you supposedly do not care, I felt it wasn't actually worth it. Hence the fun factor of repping has disappeared when you have to think twice about it!

Also another alleged accusation at the SZFC Clique regarding bad rep. I checked your repping record back to 1st March to see whether your points are valid. They are not. Your repping table from the "SZFC Clique" is as follows:

Green Rep - 8
Red Rep - 5

So to claim SZFC is bad repping you, is an accusation very clearly that you just imagined. Maybe the five reps you received, they just disagree with your views ala Foran?

I think you will actually find he changed his username so has made many more than 8 posts on the ShrimperZone boards and has been visiting these boards for around the same period I have. It just so happened that when he changed after Amsterdam, he was bigged up for being part of the ShrimperZone crew. And for him to receive 75,000 points would not really have been that hard either, as the rep you give is equivalent to 10% of your own total. (That's how I've worked it out anyway - so not an official answer).

It seems ironic to me that probaby the youngest and probably most pointlessly repped person (Josh C) can take the rep thing for a joke that it is (baring in mind he has been bad repped for selling Croation Drugs, Asking my mum out on a date, not having a local Unwins etc etc) and yet loads of grown men can spend the best part of a day moaning about it.

Couldn't have put it better myself. The ones who supposedly do not care about their rep, are the ones who continously moan and whinge. Becoming more bitter with age is a bit of a cliche. This thread proves it does exist!

The SZFC lads are going to be close and vote for each other as they are mates away from this board. To the same degree I always negative rep London Fatso, Cricko, Naps etc for no reason at all yet those lads know we are mates and its just a laugh.

It seems this time and time goes over peoples heads Dave, so I'm glad you raised it yourself. You continuously bad rep the 3 above - does that mean you are bullying them? Of course not. Ridiculous suggestion! Why doesn't XS have a moan about that? I tell you why, because it's not SZFC. Have you noticed in the members list for Rep, all the people at the top with the most positive rep are Shrimperzone footballers or the manager (the same ones in the exclusive forum).
