Protest for the Derby Friendly

Burnley didnt and look what happened. As supporters, we all want our club to buy new players and im sure to a degree that Ron did this in a bid to stay in the Championship.

Yeah but they can compete this season and don't have to sell any players unlike Hull.

Many many people on here are viewing Tilson as some sort of a god, buying him presents to say thank you (what the hell is that about)...Albeit maybe the last month or so, he was paid very well to do a job, which he did in a decent way. We got promoted twice with the aid of Eastwood, but what happened when Eastwood became disillusioned? He didn't play to his potential and we got relegated. He moved on and we got relegated again a couple of years later.

Yeah because we didn't get into the play-offs without Eastwood did we? He got "disillusioned" because he got too big for his boots after the Man Yoo game and thought he was going to get a big move in january which never happened.

Yes and i fully agree with their policy, unlike Leeds and their financial disasters and hopefully the fate that will soon be met by Tottenham when they realise just how much Harry is spending to play in the champs League. Now that would be funny.

Spurs seem to have an endless pit of money though.

Typical of Ron martin to do everthing to take the sting out of a protest. Cancelling the game for the original one then appointing a new manager and using wages to defer anger towards the players then goes on holiday.

My source tells me that Bill Jennings is stood just within the Roots Hall gate with a baseball bat, urging people to "Come get some..."

Lol, bit extreme to appoint a manager just to try to take the sting out of a car park protest.

I knew the muppet would believe my pronounciation that I would be there tonight!

Still, I can wait [I would usually insert an emoticon here but apparently that is just not the done thing even when you make a tongue-in-cheek comment]

See i dont get this attitude, ok you dont want to protest but why mock people who do. So its only 50 people, good on them, if thats what they feel is right!!

I was not a mocking the 50 people that turned up, it was merely the fact that so much was made of the protest as I said "13 pages for a thread"

If you'd read my previous comments about the idea of a protest you'd have seen that my main concern was the timing of it being tonight our one and only home pre season friendly and at a time when the atmosphre should be welcoming to our new players.

If the focus of the protest is at the people running the club then it should at with them and at the right location..... The High Court, 2nd August!

Jack didn't even take his flag, what a shambles

**** up in a brewery comes to mind.

F******* joke that was! Very dissapointed and my mate f****** up the flag, couldn't be more annoyed than now, why does everyone moan about Martin then pay money into his pocket? Anyway all I saw was Spencer looking good and Patterson down with cramp
