I'm retiring in June and I'll tell you then was I've done for 40 years. It will surprise you. People need an incentive to better themselves and the current safety net has prevented many from doing this by being far too generous. If you want to pay for generational fecklessness that's fine. I don't.

I think "general fecklessness" is something thats milked by the media to a point where it overshadows the real people TRYING to better themselves but unable to do because Uni fees, rising transport & house prices put a lot of it out of their reach. The gap between rich & poor is at it's widest point it's probably ever been and SOMETHING needs to change.

It's amazing how the right leaning posters on here get so het up when DC is being given a bit of a (spit) roasting. It's getting so vociferous its a bit like a stuck pig.

A seriously contrived post, but so much fun to deliver.

And just as amazing as the left leaning on here demanding links and sources to anything posted, wouldn't you agree. It works both ways.

Ah but I went to one-so that entitles me to an opinion of them.

Which was a Grammar school education was fine and dandy for Dianne Abbott but a public school education isn't for those that can afford it. And you actually attending a Grammar school, and a private school let's not forget makes you a complete hypocrite for wanting both to closed down. For someone who considers themselves a socialist, Marxist or whatever you fancy being today, you really are nothing more than a hypocritical snob.

(Some animals are more equal than others).:winking:

Ps You forgot the Secondary Modern School.Selective use of argument?

That was a Monkey wasn't it?....not sure you can say that about Abbott, probably quite racist.

Orangutan, works better with gingers. In Aus, that wonderfully politically correct place haha, they call gingers ranga's after orangutans
