In all fairness 4 points from Oldham and Sutton is okay I think we all just thought it may of been the opposite way round of collecting them. It also doesn’t help in the way we lost 2 points today

I said it before todays game and I will say it again, this will go down to the final game of the season against Gateshead one way or another it's just how Southend have always done it.

To play a team 4 days after their semi final which went to pens, and concede a last min goal is criminal and one of the reason we are in 9th position and not in the top 4 because a top 4 side would have had that game wrapped up by HT.

A glass half full person would say it's 4 points against Oldham and Sutton, whereas the glass half empty/realist would view it as a loss, win and draw in the last 3 games which ain't really promotion form.

Tamworth losing today was a big result IMO because they were the form team whilst the others are exactly like us in terms of inconsistency which alongside the fact that on paper we have an easier run than most keeps be clutching onto the hope we can nick 6th of 7th..

it is, for all football fans "the hope that kills you"....
