Halifax picked up 7 points from their last 11 league games, Oldham definitely got the better of the two options compared to Rochdale.

Morning Shrimpers! This playoff lark is stressful but not when you start like we did last night!
Good luck at Dale tonight, I’ve said for a while that if you gate crashed the playoffs you could go all the way….a Southend v Oldham final at Wembley would be epic and almost certainly break the attendance record
After what our two clubs have been through in recent years we both deserve a day like that so best of luck and hopefully see you on June 01st

I don't doubt that you want the club to do well.

I also don't doubt that a huge part of you is bursting at the seams to say "I told you so" if Maher fails, and would take great joy in doing so.

i also find that quite condscending *you saying to the doubters iyou was right and i told you so *. So people had their own thoughts on the matter so what ,i was one of them and still will say the reason we made it was because off the falling off of some other teams . So Mr Know it all ,thats my perspective .

Definitely fancy you to beat York. Finishing 23 points ahead of you (28 ahead of us), the pressure on York will be immense.

If and its a big IF both Oldham and Southend make the final ,i can see a crowd bordering on 50000 at that final maybe even more .Two well supported clubs and big clubs when it comes to NL and both have a history .
