Although we seem to have a bit of a chance of the playoffs. But we need to win most of our games. That is the crux of the matter.
I personally don’t think we are consistent enough. And will probably fall short this season.
The question remains are we good enough to take advantage of the situation?

So many are focusing on Rochdale but Gateshead are the ones. They have a very tricky game at home to Tamworth (who are in great form) on Saturday. They still have all of the top 3 to play as well and obviously have us on the last day.

We win Saturday and I will start to feel a little nervous. We need Boston to lose on Saturday as they are in amazing form. Could do without that stretching until our Tuesday showdown!

I kept saying that nothing was over when many were saying the season was over in January. History is littered with sides going on bad runs, especially at our level. It's no coincidence that Altrincham have lost their top goalscorer and haven't won since. That's all it takes, losing a key player to injury or suspension. I'm just happy we are still playing for something and it's nearly April.

We now definitely have a little sniff but probably need 19/27 ish.

If we can sneak in there I don’t fear the other playoff sides like I did before, the 2-2 at FGR being a good example. Since Christmas/second half we have surely been a top 5 side?

If we can get 2 wins or even 4 pts before Oldham I expect it to be rocking and a great time for 2 big sides for the late KO!

We need to win games and that is something we have struggled with all season. Lacks of goals from our forwards and a leaky defence. If we had forwards that chipped in with at least ten goals each for the season coupled with GSM goals we'd be firmly in the play offs. Win on Saturday and Tuesday and the landscape changes.

After a remarkable set of results last night it's on to Saturday. We must win.

Altrincham should lose to Barnet who have won their last seven matches (that's what we have to do going forward).

Gateshead host Tamworth who are unbeaten in their last five games so let's hope for a draw at least.

Rochdale visit Maidenhead. They will likely win unfortunately.

Halifax visit Oldham. A draw please.

So by Saturday evening we may be in eighth place five points behind Gateshead with a game in hand and still to play them..... Let us send positive waves to Tommy Tonks and co.

Quite amusing last night. Felt like we'd played and won! Sadly as others have said I'm not sure we're quite good enough yet to take full advantage, but it certainly keeps things interesting! Amazing how the likes of Oldham, Gateshead, Altringham & now Rochdale are all on bad runs. 3 points at Eastleigh might even have old cynics like me starting to dream..

Gateshead and Altrincham have both lost their last 4. Until this week, 7th was the only spot up for grabs but now a good run could see spots 5-7 within reach.

Like others have said, are we good enough to go on the run that is needed.

Next 3 games are huge. Boston beating Rochdale is good but it shows how much Boston have turned it around.

Tuesday looks a harder game than before.

Oldham is massive but first of all we need 3 points on Saturday.

Come on you blue boys.

Let's just keep getting our results right...nothing we can do about the others. We will see if our poor performances have proven costly....we probably fear they already have.

Anyone know what’s caused those dips in form for alty&gateshead? Do they have some key injuries, sold a player or two in January or is it just one of those things where it’s stopped clicking?

Pretty sure I read Chris Philips saying if you took our form purely from 2025 performances, we'd currently be 3rd in the league...

I'm on holiday next week but will be watching DAZN on Tuesday, and have Oldham tickets with the lad. Will be very exciting if these matches really matter!

I watched Gateshead last week, and Altrincham last night. Both look knackered. Both are missing players. They actually both looked like mid table teams. A couple of months ago they both looked top 5 teams. Southend are much better than both at the moment.

I'd rather Oldham beat Halifax... we can catch Halifax, I don't want them getting any points!

Gateshead, altrincham and Rochdale aren't in good form, although the game's in hand should see Rochdale through.

Gateshead are simply dreadful at the wrong time of the season. Braintree ran them ragged last night. I can see them outside of the play offs very soon.

Our goal difference could be an issue, but all we can do is keep winning and chasing the pack. If we do make our way into the top 7 then we must hold on.
