Breaking News Pepple recalled by Luton

I don’t fully follow why Luton would do this, assuming another loan at League 2. He has already had a couple of unsuccessful loans with this one currently working out for him. I can’t see the benefit of him sitting on the bench somewhere else for a few weeks and trying to establish himself when he is settled here and scoring. Surely his stock would be higher by staying here and hitting potentially 15-20 by May than risk another failure elsewhere

How long has he left on his Luton contract?
If only till season end, they are looking to cash in.
Chances for us buying...........zero?

For ****s sake. Hope the club are advanced in finding a replacement, this shouldn’t be a shock for anyone so if we don’t have someone lined up then it’s our own fault.

In fairness to Kev, this is why he's always said he doesn't like to recruit loanees.

Moncur could have played a blinder for 6 months and been recalled as well. It's the huge downfall of the loanee system and also when you rely on that loanee so heavily.

We wouldn't have relied on him so much if we actually brought in a true replacement for Cardwell on a permanent basis. We couldn't do that because of the lateness of the window, but COSU need to do that now. We needed another striker even if Bim was staying, let alone now!

Exactly what happened to us last season with Joe Taylor going back to Luton and then on to Lincoln where he also did well. We are in need of a striker, who knows he might end up playing for us! We have just lost a loanee from Notts Forest, he was also on a seasons loan but was recalled and sold to Dundee today, he was a very good young central defender.

Pepple out, Cardwell back on loan? Ah if only. This is such a shame as Bim was developing into a very good prospect with us. Luton clearly are happy with his progress.
