This has come up before... but I don't think that is our complete FA cup record for the early years.
1908/09 we played Leyton away 1st qualifying round then Shoebury Garrison in 2nd Qualifying round and someone else in 3rd Qualifying round.
There are other games missing in the early seasons as well.

We also played in the Group Cup early 1982/3 season I think.
We played 6 games in the Group Cup from 1981/83 and won none of them and therefore did not progress beyond the group stages either year. Replaced by the Associate Members Cup after 2 seasons.

Found these framed photos I took in 1981, titled 4th Division Champions. Must be against Wolves but can't be a league match, anyone have a better memory than me and know who all the players were and what match it was? Derek Spence, Otulakowski and Mervyn Cawston is coming back to me? Know the other faces so well, but cant place :)

We had a friendly against Wolves to celebrate the winning of the league. I remember Andy Gray playing for Wolves like his life depended on it. Kind of you'll only see me live once and I'm going to make sure you don't forget it .

Thanks W Bob, Moody came to mind, then I thought timescale was wrong. Terry Gray was the ginger name I was missing!

Thanks, that all makes sense now, especially as Spence has part of the trophy in his hand. Was pretty sure it was Wolves, haha Andy Gray :)

I ended up the wrong side of the law that night and when I emptied my pockets at the police station I had to sheepishly explain the blades of grass were from Roots Hall! Plod didn’t seem particularly impressed.
