saw the highlights of the game yesterday Akinfenwa looks like he's put on another couple of stone from last year, and last year he was well over weight!

If we're bringing in a Target Man id like to see an experienced one not a young upcoming talent like Sampson

Tomlin will benefit from a Target Man, Assombolonga will be a good player to have of the bench

In what way is Harris useless?

He's old and past it.Having said that that, I thought he played extremely well in the last home game of last season. How many performances can he turn in like that over a season now though? He clearly knows what to do on the pitch.Does he still have the legs to do it on a regular basis though?I have my doubts.

I am going to get abuse for saying this but waht about Blair Sturrock? although not well built for a target man, I always felt he used to hold the ball up quite well for someone of his size. Cheap wages, know the SUFC setup and the manager etc, could sign a rolling contract until/if Corr gets match fit.

This must be a wind up. We want someone to head in the crosses into the box. Blair couldn't do that standing on one.

I was talking more about Benyon than Harris, Benyon has done nothing to impress, harris still has quality but is injury prone and slow, did well towards the end of last season to be fair.

Harris isn't useless, he's a very clever player. Benyon hasn't impressed me yet but then again his game is all about being supplied from central areas so he will probably never be much cop here.

Then why on earth did he sign him then ?
He has never been given a run in the team - complete waste of time all round.
I hope Harris comes good and I'm a big fan but It don't look good. Lets hope Eastwood doesn't turn into the first Christmas turkey also. As for Corr...

Harris can still be a very good impact player, no he's not going to play every game in a season now but he's still a very useful player to have within the squad - not just for what he gives us on the pitch but also the guidance he gives those around him on and off it. He's our modern day Goat and personally I'd like to see him get a chance to manage us one day, he's certainly highly respected in the game.

Eastwood in particular said last season that he enjoyed playing with Harris as he was a very intelligent player.

You're a cheery soul aren't you lol - I agree with you on Benyon but I'd look to Sturrock for that answer, Benyon just isn't suited to this style. Maybe he might do better with a target man alongside but if we signed one I'd far rather pair him with Eastwood (who I certainly don't believe will be a "turkey" this year) or Harris if Freddy is unavailable.

Why? Harrold would fit us perfectly. He's a genuine goal threat now as well.

Just don't want him back here Beefy, I'm not saying he wasn't treated badly when he was here but I remember him saying some derogatory bad things about both the club and fans in general since he left. There are other players out there who would do a good job, and IMHO there's no way Harrold would want to come back here anyway.
