New hattrick season

Great win 2-1 away win for me today considering:

- Best defender out injured, I didn't notice so my sub started the game.
- Best IM sent off while the match was 0-0
- 2nd best defender got injured so replaced with an IM.

Next week we play the unbeaten leaders, both injuries +1 and i'm still in the cup so hopefully I'll have them all back for next week.

Won 2-1.

Great result as they finished 2nd last season (one place above me), and I was without my first choice keeper (second choice is passable!) and my star defender.

Over £320,000 in gate receipts is also quite nice. Should get some decent cash from Tuesday's cup tie as well.

A slightly disappointing 1-1 away yesterday though I did play 60 mins with 10 men. My league looks wide open this season with anyone from 5 with a decent chance. I'm topping the hatstats and star charts. Probably looking at 2nd or 3rd and pushing for prom next season.

Random well and truly bit me in the bum - had 45 hatstats and 18 stars more than my 10 man opps and lost 3-2. Am now considering just playing trainee reserves for the remainder of the season training defending and passing playing CA. Bought 3rd new trainee yesterday. Brilliant PM, passable defending and passing. Paid well over the odds but I'm long cash anyway

I lost 6-1 as I kind of expected, I probably should have just played my reserves and made sure I won my cup match tonight!

Got through in the cup, but at a price. A +4 injury to my titanic IM.

Actually it's a pretty tough one but they're averaging 250+ hatstats so I'd expect them to do well. Thrashed me last week.

I'm 2-1 up at the moment, don't think it will last. My stamina isn't great so I don't think my 52% possession will last.

Won 3-1 and set what I think is a new hatstats record for me, of 292.

Considering I was missing two first-teamers with injury and had to play a couple of players with weak form, I may yet be able to challenge the 300 mark.

Won 3-0 away with season high hatstats of 265, puts me in third but promotion is almost impossible as the top team don't look like they'll get beaten. Will be trying to squeeze another couple of cup games out instead.

Squeezed a 1-0 home win to move up to 4th - next week is a season defining match. if i win a promotion challenge is definitely on the cards. Tried out CA for the first time with a near first team squad and got a brilliant rating - should probably be aiming higher than that I guess. Will start mixing defenders around to see if I can optimise.

YBs prophesy of an injury to my U20 came true with a +2 in a friendly last week. Turkish idiot mailed me to get me to put 10 docs on the case. tw8t.

2-1 up in the cup after 12 minutes! A win here will see me through to Round 7 for only the second time. Easiest fixture of the season on Sunday so I can go for a PIC followed by MOTS next round with the first team.

Thinking of changing of upgrading one of my defenders, what the hell has happened to pricing? TC for my supernatural defender is £1.8m without even accounting for his inadequate PM, passing and set pieces, I only paid £1.1m for him 4 months ago! Downside is there's a complete lack of anything decent and English on the transfer list.
