Mohsni on Facebook

Mohsni has been quite active on Facebook since Tuesday and have received mainly supportive comments. Below is an interesting example of a conversation

Wesley Fitzgerald Bilel has let the team down again. Ranted at his own team mates in public, refused to travel home with them, and gone and caught the train. Brilliant, but lets continue to encourage him.

Wesley Fitzgerald Bilel, this is what happened according to 2 separate sources and the press. Unfortunately, because of your reputation, you've made it easy to believe. If it's untrue I apologise, but why did you not travel home with the team? And why would three separate individuals report very similar stories?

Wesley Fitzgerald What for saying he let the team down. Well then that makes Sturrock a ****, Dickinson a ****, Phillips a ****, Gilbert a ****. You're the bigger **** for not seeing what's in front of you. Just because he claps the fans and gets you all excited by being nice to you on FB, doesn't make him immune to criticism.

Wesley Fitzgerald Bilel, I never called you those names. I am sorry you think so. I can see you try so hard on the pitch, I'm just frustrated you keep making the same mistakes each week. I hope you can sort things out with Southend United, I don't want to see you go, as you can be a good player for us, Good luck, and sorry for causing you so much, but I hope you can understand why. Wes.

Dan Beckwith Wesley I am not a man united fan? I travel to every home and away game oldham was the 2nd away game I've missed so don't call me a man united fan. And keep it up bilel if you get a red card for your passion every now and again so be it

Sorry but thats just ridiculous, keep him on the bench and use him only in an emergency incase he comes on and ****s everything up and take him off again when he gets booked :hilarious:

I'm really sorry not sure what happened there, I certainly didn't intend to post something constructive, not sure what came over me. I think I should have said "yeah let's get rid of him".

Some of this stuff said about Mohsni is totally out of order.... if you look on the club website you will see that actually he isn't the player at the club with the worst disciplinary record. Also he isn't even in the league two top 20.... I bet if you were constantly being picked by your manager out of your natural position you would commit the occasional foul too!
It's more the off the field stuff that worries me, and is probably more what bothers Sturrock. Also Mohsni should make winger/midfield his full time position because if Bilel was only allowed to play at the back I wouldn't even want him on the bench

Christ on a bike is it silly season already :thump:

Gone hopefully.

. Dont care how liked he is by the fans, .

He has more passion in his little finger that some of the present squad and is loved by the younger supporters of this club and if he is not playing here they might want to come to the hall and that is future supporter gone maybe to support a team up the road with there parents

we need every supporter we can get hold of to come through the gates and support the blues i for one hope he stays because i feel that he goes we may loose more than younger supporters coming through the gate then i hope to can live with your statement

The Mosh must stay.He and Phillips were the only two players to take any credit at Cheltenham.I am sure Uncle Ron would have loved a day out in Liverpool, but we lost to Oldham through a mediocre performance, not just Moshni's sending off.Keep him, keep him, keep him.

cold

How can you expect a French Tunisian to play in December in Oldham? Even the locals were cold. We lost the game because Sturrock senior picked a weird team. Keep him and play him centre half he is the most genuine character we have had since Johnny Mac.

Brentwood shrimper. If it was Hartlepool next round no one would batter an eye lid? Really? The fact is it was Liverpool and a possible cheque of around £250.000. That has now gone for a burden on both counts. Money we'd never get from a Hartlepool tie.

Listened to everyone and thinking of changing my view of Mohsni

With all the support of Mohsni perhaps I should have another view.
He is so passionate for the club that it is ok for him to constantly rant and rave and act like a spoilt brat.
It is fine to watch games knowing that he is a "walking foul".
It is great that he misses games through suspension whilst his team mates struggle to get us out of Division 2.
It is no problem that he has not learned lessons from last season.
He sets a fine example for youngsters at the club.
Great for Paul Sturrock to have the problem of coping with an idiot.
No problem that he has to be played up front because he is a liability anywhere else.
Wonderful player in the dressing room with an apparent desire for violent conduct.
Best of all, we can blame him for our failing to get promoted.

No I will never trust the idiot, he needs to be shown the error of his ways and be sacked.
What do players have to do to get sacked these days?
I suspect that his agent has him tied to a water tight contract that prevents the club doing anything other than talk quietly and sit on their hands.
I suspect nothing will happen and we will not get promoted, but that is what supporting Southend is all about eh?

Kind of agree with spoons, although I trust Paul Sturrock and if he decides mohsni can stay then I still think we can get promoted

He would be the first name on the team sheet for me as soon as he is available for selection. On his day he is without doubt our best player and playing two divisions below his ability.

That's the problem for me, on his day he is brilliant. I can't remember what game it was but mohsni was getting wound up and started diving to win fouls, you could see his antics were affecting the team and we looked clueless, and when he got sent off we started playing well and like an actual team

But any pro will tell you ability is only a drop of what is required to make a career in the game, temperment and control are equally important and i'm sorry i don't think Bil is capable of learning the lessons, i'd LOVE to be proven wrong really i would

So Hall gets arrested and charged with assault and we put him up for hero status, for the record i love him as a player. Moshni a foreign player (known for their emotion and passion) who is still immature in pro football sense should get sacked due to a few sending offs. I am as frustrated as the next person from a footballing point of view, but is isnt in trouble off the pitch, hasnt been arrested, so on what basis should the club sack the guy. He will learn im sure of that, it just takes time with some more than others. UTB
