Mohnsi is such a talent I hope a way can be found of sorting out his problems but as an earlier poster said his cards are now marked by opposing teams and probably referees too.
I think it's something like 4 red cards and 18 yellow cards in 18 months with us (and that includes a long spell out with injury) which is a shocking record.
I also wonder whether one of the reasons Anthony Grant has fallen out of favour with PS is his lack of discipline. He had a yellow card the other night at Oldham that some refs might have given a red for.

Simple. He must go, I am afraid. He is a liability and he is causing a dressing room rift which will undermine team spirit etc.

He is a loose cannon who is always likely to explode. Shame because he can be very exciting but we simply cannot afford his bookings and red cards.

Sorry, I dont think that is what people are saying at all, they like his passion and enthusiasm for the game and yes personality.
Football would be a very boring game if we outed all the so called 'maverick entertainers' mind you perhaps we could all go and watch tennis (substitute passionless sport of choice here) instead? :winking:

I don't doubt that at all Rox, but some on here are advocating we forget the fact he's a sandwich flask of tea tartan rug and wicker basket short of a picnic hamper because he waves a lot

Made me laugh, even though I was trying to be cross with you x

I think he should stay, we know he has a problem with his temperament, so does our Manager, how many times have we said when he gets booked, that PS should take him off to stop him from getting sent off....if he got a straight red tuesday night he deserves being blamed, the boy needs to be managed, he's like a child and every so often he needs a kick up the backside, that's what PS should be doing... he could be worth a fortune if handled correctly.

And to hell with what his team mates say and think about it .. we are Southend UNITED, though that is in danger of becoming UNTIED

I think he needs time to get some help/sorted out. I also think he should be used purley as an impact sub to change the game when things not going well. That way less likley to have a significant detremental effect on the game.

Agree with the comment that once booked he should be taken off.

The opposition would love that one. They would try to get him booked in the first few minutes of a game.

Sorry but thats just ridiculous, keep him on the bench and use him only in an emergency incase he comes on and ****s everything up and take him off again when he gets booked :hilarious:

What we dont want is some sort of knee jerk reaction from the club, give him his discline, send him back to France to spend Christmas with his family, let him come back in the new year when the dust has settled.

Lets move on to getting 9 points over Christmas and its all forgotten.

Some of this stuff said about Mohsni is totally out of order.... if you look on the club website you will see that actually he isn't the player at the club with the worst disciplinary record. Also he isn't even in the league two top 20.... I bet if you were constantly being picked by your manager out of your natural position you would commit the occasional foul too!

It's not a knee jerk reaction, he's had several warning's before. People need to stop viewing this as a reaction/punishment for an isolated incident, the club are (potentially) taking action because it's the latest in a line of incident's.

If many of the other players showed half the commitment that Bilel does
then we would have won the first game at home. Some of them need to look a bit closer to home after
the 3-0 Cheltenham, 2-1 Swindon, 1-1 Bristol Rovers. If the next round of the cup was against
say Hartlepool and not at bloody Anfield, would there be such an outcry. Bilel seems like an honest
bloke. Always has time for the fans. Let's just move on and hope that his commitment rubs off on the others.
