One of the biggest games in recent years down at the Hall? With Millwall going away to Fleetwood, a win today could see us back in to the play off positions with few games remaining.

Come on you Blues!

Now including the half open X-Block.

Big game today. They are getting bigger as the season rolls on. There will be 9k in attendance today. Bank holiday game with much riding on it.

If we can't get 9k+ for games like this then it's not worth us being promoted. I can see Y block being opened as people turn up on the day!

With all of X Block open we have 8,765 home seats, any idea how many are in Y/Z corner? Having to allocate the entire North Bank (?? 2200) for maybe 300-400 away fans may need some re-appraisal.

I think as long as the away supporters are less than 600 or so the north bank can be split with segregation in the middle- the moment it gets more than that I think H&S means the away fans need to be able to access exits at both ends.

Oh, and Bradford already 2 0 down at Sheff Utd.

I must admit that I thought Bradford would fall away towards the end of the season - a good, hard working team but I didn't rate them to be so high in the table ......... especially after they sold Hanson(?) to Sheffield United - that seemed a little odd to me.

8,200 sold

I think we'll get a lot of people turning up and hour or so before the game to buy tickets. Bearing in mind it's a bank holiday Monday. I'm going to hedge my bets and say we'll have at least 9k Southend fans today, so I'm going for 9,300.

these are wise words. listen to him my son

Wise words indeed.
Ive been away for weekend with wife and kids and didn't expect to be back until late afternoon , so never got a ticket.
As fate would have it , got back about 1 , so I played the proverbial blinder that only someone with years of marriage can do.
Made a cup of tea , put the washing on , sorted a few bits out.
I then sat down and said to my wife "so , any plans this afternoon" ?
She being either very wise or a witch ( or indeed a wise witch ) said with a sigh "just go" !
I was out the door before she finished.
Not in normal seats etc , but hey I'm in !
COYB

Unable to go today due to a family commitment - only 3rd home missed this season so will have to make do with BBC Essex

Have fun people! UTBs
