Lenny and Coker back in (if fit). We have 3 games left and have to play our best team and that is our best team imo.

I would not expect Brown to make any changes, unless forced to do so through injuries.

I was also thinking that getting Coker on for say last 20/25 mins could be beneficial as he is more attacking than White and White will have played a number of games in quick succession.

It is still frustrating that we got nothing from Bolton/Charlton games I just wonder 'what if' Fortune had come on instead of Nouble.................However, we can only concentrate on the next game, be patient and forget about Millwall until 5pm on Monday. Whatever happens, whatever the result, nothing will be decided Monday.

Just a thought, if you were offered a draw in this match but you knew Millwall would definitely lose to Fleetwood as well, would you take it?

Right, so on Monday we need to get a match report together, using :-

Cripes
Plethora
Smithereens
Truculent
Spifflicate

Shouldn't be a problem!

Has anyone considered that some of the 5 or so players we had doubts on for yesterday might not make it on Monday?

I don't wanna be the bearer of bad news or anything but obviously either PB was exaggerating the injury problems for mind games or some of those players played through the pain barrier yesterday in a must-win game.

I'm hoping it's the former but you really couldn't blame Brown if he gambled on a few of them as it was vital to win yesterday.

What a game and day this promises to be.

However it's days like this why we support football ... 90 mins of nerves and excitement , 90 mins when you can lose yourself in the moment and entrust your happiness onto the players. People who don't like football ask why I love it so, these are the days why. The excitement will build all weekend, from the moment the whistle blew at the end of the Chesterfield game my thoughts are on Friday. The girlfriend is joining again and I hope they play like they did in the second half vs Bolton but this time we get the result we deserve. Lenny has to come back, for me he truly is the leading force and he should always get back in.. not sure who for, but he's a must. Ranger/Cox partnership so vital in this run in, really showing the doubters why they were bought to the club. I can't remember what thread or who wrote it, bit over the last 2 weeks, someone has questioned whether the club actually want promotion .. come on, you don't bring these players in and want anything other than success ..

Since 1986 I've loved Southend and that will never change .. come on boys ... make my Easter complete

Couldn't agree more, my Dad is in Australia he could be missing an corker! He hasn't missed many home games over the last 25 years.

I have a dilemma. I am.working Monday 9-7.30. I have tried in vane to get a shift swap or cover but haven't been able to get any.

I am also in the doghouse for the bury game as it's our first wedding anniversary! The Mrs has given me the "you decide what's more important" speech. Feck knows why we have to play the final game on a Sunday ffs.

Lets hope it's in the bag by then. Divorces are expensive :stunned:

Did you not see Anthony Wordsworth leave the pitch because of a tight hamstring?

All I meant in my comment above is that I wouldn't be surprised if we're giving a few players painkilling injections and the like in order to get them out there.

It's great news having Lenny back though on Monday. Hopefully if Wordy doesn't make it then Lenny and Tims in midfield will do enough to get us the points.

I'm in a dilemma....."bush trimming" went well yesterday....and am now asking around my neighbours to see if anyone else would like the same
