Right, so on Monday we need to get a match report together, using :-

Cripes
Plethora
Smithereens
Truculent
Spifflicate

Shouldn't be a problem!

Don't forget the young Krays thought "crocodile" was a "magic" word too.Now that would be a difficult one to fit into any match report.

Are we expecting many "franchisees" to make the trip to "The Hall" ?

They never travel well. I can't remember them ever bringing more than 600 odd. I don't expect anymore than 4-500 for essentially a nothing game for them.

I'm more worried about bury needing 3 points for survival last game of the season and us needing 3 points for the play offs

I have a dilemma. I am.working Monday 9-7.30. I have tried in vane to get a shift swap or cover but haven't been able to get any.

I am also in the doghouse for the bury game as it's our first wedding anniversary! The Mrs has given me the "you decide what's more important" speech. Feck knows why we have to play the final game on a Sunday ffs.
In those situations I turn the conversation on its head: I say to my missus that she knew I was obsessed with SUFC when she married me, and that if she knew how much the big games meant to me then she'd understand why I had to go, and that to make a fuss is unreasonable. I mean it's not every weekend of the year is it?

Did you not see Anthony Wordsworth leave the pitch because of a tight hamstring?

All I meant in my comment above is that I wouldn't be surprised if we're giving a few players painkilling injections and the like in order to get them out there.

It's great news having Lenny back though on Monday. Hopefully if Wordy doesn't make it then Lenny and Tims in midfield will do enough to get us the points.

No! But I see that Brown reports that Wordy has a tight hamstring and that Anton was struggling at the end to so you were/are right.

Dazzaref was in a similar ****storm with his wife over the Chesterfield game.

Counselling on here and a kick up the arse from OBL took him down the bribery route. So maybe go to football (how could you not) but arrange something very special for the two of you soon after the game ends?

I've played this game with Chris Phillips a few years back, while commentating on the radio - challenged him to get certain words into the commentary, lol! We had a whole series of animals one day :hilarious:

Slightly off topic in terms of football news, but may I also mention that 6 MK Don's fans are cycling from Milton Keynes to Roots Hall (a journey of nearly 100 miles) for 2 good causes, one is in the aid of a local hospice & the other is to provide a better experience for disabled fans at the stadium.

Perhaps the powers at be that are on the forum, that also has some close contacts with the club, could give them a run around with a bucket or something either before the game or at half time.

Just a thought.?

Anyway, the link is here if you want to donate otherwise.

Should be giving all proceeds to AFC Wimbledon as away of saying sorry for stealing your club.

Maybe what she meant by this is that you will have many more anniversaries in the future and she thinks it's important that you go to the game?

Can't help you with Monday, but Bury won't be an issue - just say you need to get to Roots for the match so you can get a signed copy of 'Roots To the 92' for her anniversary present. Sorted ..... I've now got two weeks to think of a suitable personalised dedication to help you get to your second anniversary.

Glad to see this.

Blues have also extended the loan spell of goalkeeper Christian Walton from Brighton & Hove Albion for another seven days, meaning the shot-stopper can figure against MK Dons and at Shrewsbury Town on Saturday.

Can see it all (hopefully) going down to the last day of the season. Bradford have got Sheffield Utd tomorrow so can see them getting sucked back into the 6th place dog-fight! They then have Rochdale away last game of the season whilst Milwall have Bristol away and I can see us having to beat Bury and hope 1 of the 2 above slip up! Scunthorpe are fine, they've got Chesterfield, Swindon and Cov to play so they could quite easily finish 3rd!

I would explain my undying love for the two most important things in my life , get a match day package for both of you so she can see the importance of both of these in your life......then be prepared to crawl for the rest of your days...
