I would have thought Stan, Kev, knew exactly what they were getting themselves into? Martin has run this club into the ground, non payment of players and staff over recent years, late payments to HMRC, robbing Peter to pay Paul, deluded and total disregard to fans. They would have to be very naive not to be aware of this mans total ruin of SUFC.I'm sure as the weeks go on there will be more staff departures. Our management must be thinking what have we got ourselves into.
Yep, haven't had one since Ben Clarkson left. Amy and Jamie are strength and conditioning coaches really. Bordering on professional negligence to not have a fully-qualified and full-time physiotherapist. We haven’t had a “fully qualified” physio for some time, neither Amy or Jamie were full physio’s, I believe one was Sports scientist, but both had the necessary league qualifications to go on the pitch.
Administration might just be our best way out, providing a buyer would step up or we will go to the wall. Ron wouldn't have much of a choice in that situation. Problem is there anyone out there who would buy SUFC?I would have thought Stan, Kev, knew exactly what they were getting themselves into? A line needs to be drawn in the sand here, the football club, staff, players and the support by the loyal fans should not have to see their beloved club dragged down like it has been by Ron Martin.
Ron Martins businesses and the running of, alleged non payment of taxes, HMRC again, how can he be fit and proper to run a football club!?
I imagine that he hoped by now that FF would have been given the go ahead years ago, which may have saved us going into the lower divisions, however, the finish line maybe that little bit closer, but, so is being relegated further.
After the last statement, it seems days will become weeks, same old Martin Bull*hit!!!
HMRC must be fed up seeing him, whether its for his personal business or for SUFC, paid what is owed and in a timely manner.
What will come first, because the pot is empty, either we enter administration or a buyer,(s) are found. I know Ron has said he will not sell, but, he may not have a choice soon, IMHO.
Absolute disgraceDr Mac has been main doctor for a long while, I don't believe that's changed.
As for physio I find it interesting we don't have one present on matchdays.
Administration might just be our best way out, providing a buyer would step up or we will go to the wall. Ron wouldn't have much of a choice in that situation. Problem is there anyone out there who would buy SUFC?
Why do you even support the club? It must be really stressful for you. It's a requirement under National League rules that every club must have a physio in attendance on match days. We could be facing discoplinary action for a breach of these rules. The treatment of Arnold's concussion also raises questions as to our adherence to the protocol on head injuries.
It's quite shocking to think actually how much of an issue this would be should someone suffer a serious injury, with nobody qualified to handle such a situation.Yep, haven't had one since Ben Clarkson left. Amy and Jamie are strength and conditioning coaches really. Bordering on professional negligence to not have a fully-qualified and full-time physiotherapist.
Too old to change now but very sad to see the current shambles in virtually every respect. Tired of successive attempts to put lipstick on a pig during Martin's reign. Why do you even support the club? It must be really stressful for you.
I think we're in a lot more trouble than we know about. Are we even allowed to play games without thsee staff? seems ridiculous if you are, and if we are not allowed to we could be in one heap of toruble
Could we even go into administration if we have no assets?Administration might just be our best way out, providing a buyer would step up or we will go to the wall. Ron wouldn't have much of a choice in that situation. Problem is there anyone out there who would buy SUFC?
I believe we would still go administration first and then liquidation. The fact we lack assets would simply accelerate us towards liquidation after administration without someone coming in with big £££. I believe this is what happened to Bury.Could we even go into administration if we have no assets?
I suspect if Ron was to go out of business or pull out we would find ourselves liquidated in pretty short order.
You only go into administration to protect yourself from creditors...As Ron is the only creditor he will never put us into administration. We'll just be straight wound up!I believe we would still go administration first and then liquidation. Well hopefully we owe money to someone else then...You only go into administration to protect yourself from creditors...As Ron is the only creditor he will never put us into administration. We'll just be straight wound up!
We don't, except HMRC - and they always get paid first.Well hopefully we owe money to someone else then...
Thanks for explaining. We're properly f*****We don't, except HMRC - and they always get paid first.
There is no way we will go into administration as Ron loses everything that is owed to him on the balance sheet (not that he particular wants that back anyway!). It's much better to be liquidated I'm afraid.
Which kind of beggars the belief why he didn't just do that in 2010...anyway I'm veering away from the thread which is about medical staff!
