Oh dear. Now we're going to get Kev to Bristol City posts.Nigel Pearson gone from Bristol City, dropping like flies at the moment.
But ambition is in everyone and a decent pay off(He) should have stayed at Wycombe, had a job for life there.

Yes I know. The point was he will now be linked to every sacked managers job, Championship and below.ex Gas
I dont think it is just Kevin who has got the team playing Darren and Mark would have a big input . I dont think he will go .Yes I know. The point was he will now be linked to every sacked managers job, Championship and below.

another Johnny Foreigner manager gets the opportunity to take over a Championship club instead of a promising British one.
Gareth was always a promising British one…another Johnny Foreigner manager gets the opportunity to take over a Championship club instead of a promising British one.
No worries, Robbie has taken legal advice and put Etherington back into his role as interim head coach, making Wagmi look like a bunch of dick heads, he obviously thinks that contract is not legally biding in some way. https://www.cu-fc.com/news/2023/october/head-coach-update/
I can't think of many promising British managers, the current trend seems to just be to hire a ex-England international and then act suprised when it turns out being a good player doesn't make you a good manager. Will Still is the only promising manager I can think of that might have taken the job but he seems happy at Reims. I am surprised they didn't get Warnock though, maybe he wasn't interested.another Johnny Foreigner manager gets the opportunity to take over a Championship club instead of a promising British one.
And when they fail as so many do , the owner will wonder why, They dont really understaqnd that the English game is somewhat different than the leagues in Europe.another Johnny Foreigner manager gets the opportunity to take over a Championship club instead of a promising British one.
I watch a bit of world football and cant tell the difference between any league, be it Brazil, Greece, Japan, South Africa or where ever. Its now a global game and played pretty much the same way the world over. Most players in the prem are foreign so perhaps it make sense to have a foreign manager too.And when they fail as so many do , the owner will wonder why, They dont really understaqnd that the English game is somewhat different than the leagues in Europe.

Hope he does well because he's got a lot of potential but I'm pretty surprised by that. He was sacked by MK Dons less than 12 months ago after leading them to the bottom of the table, 6 points from safety. He's been doing well at Oxford but I would have thought he'd need another year of good results before championship clubs started enquiring. It sounds like the fans weren't happy the club sacked Pearson, hopefully they give him time if he doesn't hit the ground running.Liam Manning just appointed Bristol City manager
