Manager Sacking and Appointment Thread

Matt Taylor sacked by Rotherham
A very tough job, bit like Doncaster in that they have new grounds, but are examples of unfashionable Yorkshire clubs, where possible local fans are drawn to other nearby clubs.
And clubs that seem to think they have a right to be Championship where others may think of them as mid or upper L1 with occasional seasons in Championship.

Sunderland have sacked Tony Mowbray and assistant Mark Venus. Surprising as he got them to the Championship play-offs last season, and they are in 9th place this season, despite Mowbray crying out for backing in the transfer market. The fans seem to think he over achieved with the players they have, They don't have a proper goalscorer leading the line. Luckily Jack Clarke has been scoring from the wing. Mowbray has also had to use quite a few youngsters. This could easily backfire.

Still no P45 with Chris Wilder lurking
It seems the owner confirmed it on radio this morning with no official statement yet.

I was a fan of Wilder first time round, not sure if it will work out this time. But they need to go down swinging. Going down with a wimper currently.
