What has the EDL got to do with Luton town fc :stunned: The EDL have divisions everywhere, I am well confused.

Tommy Robinson was one of the leaders of the EDL and the Luton firm(football hooligans) called the Migs. He even wrote 2 books about his adventures and his 25 year involvement with football violence following Luton. If he comes to Southend for trouble, it will be with the older and newer Migs and other Luton hoolies. He will not be coming with the EDL.

Luton have always been known for trouble, Tommy Robinson's presence doesn't help im sure a few mosques might be out in numbers if they knew he was coming down

If the fella shows up with his cronies, his face is well known so he wont be able to go for a p**s anywhere, without 'Old Bill' knowing.

There is no reason whatsoever the EDL would be coming to a football match to cause trouble, English Defence League think about it.

EDL are made up largely of ex football hooligans and they are well known for fighting amongst themselves - if you think their name means anything positive you are mistaken.

He did manage to turn up to and speak from a stage at an EDL demo a year or so ago that he had a banning order for by going in disguise. He didn't manage to get into the US though when he tried to get in on a forged passport.

No reason to think he is coming to Southend though.

There was me thinking EDL stood for Edison Light House.... Oh Love grows....I'll get my coat. :stunned:

Tommy Robinson left the EDL months ago. They also tend not to go to football matches - there demos are nearly always on a Saturday afternoon and I think half of them are probably on banning orders.

My wife and I walked through Hyde Park on a Saturday a couple of weeks ago , and ended up walking through an EDL meeting , my wife noticed that some of them were looking at us and talking on there mobiles , perhaps they thought we were Old Bill .

Bet they all looked fine examples of well bred 'English stock'?

I can imagine. Shaven heads, over weight, giving it the 'big-un' in front of an audience. On their own, powder-puffs!
Spot on , we had gone to London so I could go and see Portchester House where they have a plaque on the wall in remberance of the Czech soldiers who killed Reinhard Heydrich in WW2 , I was told that the plaque had to be 20 foot from the ground to stop scum like the EDL defacing it .

They was looking at you sosborne. They knew you were old Leigh Comm.

Tommy robinson has confirmed (via twitter) that he will be attending the game on saturday after a fellow shrimper retweeted it. Im sure the police are well aware of him and is track record. so hopefully no trouble will be caused

I would be surprised if the EDL would have defaced the plaque. They were originally formed to defend the mothers of soldiers at parades. After muslim extremists abused and spat at the parents of soldiers marching through Luton and the police refused to step in and arrest any extremists

And they went off message very soon after
