Leon Clarke Goes Back To The Owls

Remember him... a forward who scored goals unlike the shower of sh1te that plays up front for us two years on.

Would that be Wayne Gray, who from the end of September 2005 until the start of May 2006, managed a grand total of 2 goals, both penalties.

Or is that because he was 3rd place to a Mr. Goater & Mr Eastwood perchance?

22 goals in 63 games according to Soccerbase.... it'd take our "striking force" until 2015 to knock up 22 goals between them... :(

Goater was injured as soon as it got cold, and so Gray made 17 starts during that time, plus sub appearances.

He was third choice for a reason.

Behind those two, many premiership strikers would be!

Still maintain Wayne GrAy was and is better than what we've got now (excluding Leon).

Gray was, is, and always shall be, complete pants. Bring able to run quickly in a straight line was just about all he ever contributed.

Our forwards have actually scored 21 goals between them this season, although this total includes Bradbury's hat-trick against Cheltenham.

Yeah, the goal that secured the title for definate really wasn't important was it. Gray wasn't that bad and certainly is better than some of our forwards.
