Not really. Barnard signed in the January window, along with Alex Revell. He basically replaced Leon Clarke.

Don't think stats are the fairest way to compare these two. Barnard has always been an out and out striker and goalscorer on the last defender whereas Woodrow is often utilised out wide. Even Corr's stats this season are only 6 in 31 yet I'm sure we agree he's been one of our best players this year.
Barnard is a top top goalscorer but I think Woodrow has the potential and abililty to be more than a decent player.
Don't get me wrong though, I'd take Barnard over Woodrow. But they'll both play they're part.

Good signing - welcome back Lee. All the best for the rest of the season. :smile::thumbsup:
Having said that, I haven't forgotten that his desire to leave played a significant part in our relegation troubles .... :sad: .... so I will be looking for Lee to "pay back" by putting the ball in the net (or at least setting up a few).
As for the best strike force in the division, well, that is more tricky. I like the look of the Scunthorpe bunch but as has been said this gives us options both in terms of players but also in terms of styles and formations.
I can't see our midfield "buckling" at the moment but Freddie can do a role in front of the midfield and behind a target man (or pair) as well being an out and out striker.
All in all I am very pleased. And I don't expect to see Reid even on the subs bench. :blush:
And finally ............. I go back to the basic rule of keeping a clean sheet/good defending. Love the idea of scoring 1 (or 2) more than the opposition so we win no matter how many we let in but the head tells me that a 1-0 win does the job just as well. :look:
