Until the end of the season!

Decent sigining. Not really sure how he fits in the team to be honest though. We know he can score though and we are light up front with two injury prone stikers so having a 3rd injury prone striker at least reduces the percentage of injury slightly

Just greened you for that!

He's a significant upgrade on Woodrow, at the very least.

i will be furiously giving one to my mrs tonight just for this news! it has got me excited!!:happy::happy:

Lol.

Injury prone or not how weird though that we now have 3 of our most successful strikers over the last decade all in the squad at once?!

Arent these 3 the only 3 who would have scored 20+ in a season in that time ?

The formation should fit the players - not the other way around. We started the season well with Eastwood and Corr up top in a 4-4-2 and only went to 4-3-3 because of injuries. Corr and Barnard seem a perfect strike force. With Eastwood on the bench at least for now surely only Scunny have firepower to match.

IIRC, we did not lose a match when he scored the first goal of the game last time he was here. I think he managed that feat more than 20 times.

Blimey, awesome signing! Well done to Brown or whoever pulled that one out of the bag. You do wonder where this leaves Woodrow and Eastwood, since we only play one up top, but I imagine it might be a few weeks before Barnard plays as he'll be well out of match practice. Does this also mean that the embargo has been lifted? Maybe Brown's thinking of returning to 4-4-2? We look like to bring players back at Southend don't we.

Also sees the return of one of my favourite player chants ever, Lee Barnard my lord, Lee Barnard!

Seems to have a decent record of scoring on debut as well....

**runs off to Ladbrokes**

With a view to a permanent contract as well.... crackign signing, well done to the club for this one.

Barnard, Eastwood and Corr. My 3 favourite strikers of my time supporting Blues united together. Potentially wow.

I just hope Fred can get his fitness back, he was looking so sharp before the injury.

Anyway, I digress. Great signing.

Had a feeling he might sign for us again. He's just dropped a wee bairn and home is where the heart is n'all that!

Will Barna change his name back to Barna now?

Great news.
