Last night

Gowers goal against Darlo.

Che is indeed quality, really top bloke, as as the team to be honest. Che said he still hasn't got over Cardiff, and admitted the team were dumbstruck on the Friday when they first got tot he stadium.

Jay Smith started talking to me about my diamond earring, I think he was jealous.

Lawrie Dudfield was genuinly chuiffed that I asked him for his autograph.

I told Cort I only wanted his autograph if he definitely going to be here next season. His autograph is right in front of me.

Jupp and Corbett are decent guys. Husbands is tiny, and looks nothing like Rio Ferdinand in real life.

Jamie Stuart looks like a hard *******,

I'm still on cloud nine coz I met all my favourite players.

Oh, and Darryl and Drewe have exactly the same f**king Armani suit. Amazing.

More credit? He only has to flick a ball onto no-one in particular and everyone goes "Dreeeeeeeweeee".

Falkirk, I'm pretty sure.

He's the link between me, my Falkirk supporting mate and my Forest supporting mate

Didn't know MotherCare sold Armani suits.

Wonder where Drewe got his from?

Good choice.

I would have thought that the top 2 goals would have been in the same game (Bentley's being the other)

Gower has really cleaned up this year hasn't he, Players POTY, SUSCT POTY, SZ POTY and Goal of the Season, not bad for a season's work, give him a pay rise and another year on his contract

My money's on Edwards or Woody. Reckon it's a fair chance of Woody - Tilly talked about signing a GK, defender and striker. Mention has been made that the defender is a young, experienced Conference player - that rules out Edwards. Woody has been released by Oxford so will be sniffing around looking for a new club. If the money's right, then I reckon he would be a good signing. I always rated him.

Of the other players left to hear about contracts, I reckon we have seen the last of Jenks, Stuart, Husbands, Leke and (sadly) Corbett.

New contracts for McSweeney (cheap and versatile), and Wozza (good character, reliable), Wilson (useful squad player/reserve captain - again a good guy to have around). Offers too to Nicolau and Hunt.

I think Tilly and Brush are great at building team spirit and for this they will want certain types of players - Wozza, Wilson, Dudfield, Drewe, Bentley and Woody all fit this mould. Could build a strong dressing room spirit which hopefully will mean they will all fight for each other on the pitch. They will also be a good influence on the younger players like Nicky, Hunt, Kightly, Macca, Cort, Connie, Gower etc.

I seem to remember a certain David McSweeney scoring a belter against Carlisle. Was that even in the running?

Sorry - one other point. Bramble is an interesting case - he has another year left, but I reckon they might release him too. Can't see him fitting into the mould at all. Unprofessional, unreliable (turns up late, mysterious bouts of food(alchohol) poisoning) lazy, uninterested. Compare that with someone like Dudfield who Colin Calderwood described as a model professional. Both Tilly and Brush could be described as "model professionals" in their career and I reckon they will want similar characters in their team.

It is indeed Falkirk.
What's Falkirk?

Is that North East or North West Jockland?

Pretty central-ish, as I recall... although a bit nearer to Edinburgh than Glasgow...

Also known for not exactly being the centre of the known universe. Hence the use by one of the charatcers in Irvine Welsh's "Glue" of the phrase "Get tae Falkirk!" to mean "You're having a laugh, bumpkin-boy!".

if you're looking at good team spirit- Tes, Che, Drewe and Jamie are good men to have around. Sod this model professional lark, I want players who get on with each other off the pitch as well as on.

Anybody got clips on the net of gowers goal of the season. It was the only league game i missed last year

Oxford releasing Woodman says it all, he"s cr*p and no better than Cumberson, here we go again!
