Kacper Lopata

I assume then this means we have to give up his registration and he is now free to sign for say Chesterfield or whoever...

Yes, I guess so. Well done Ron. Your hubris when you met the team has had its just reward.

You've also dissed the fans of the club you professed to love Kacper.

So....... no heroes to admire in this story and we PBI just trudge on as the disasters multiply.

There is only one dick and it isn't the victim. Its Ron. I can't believe people are giving him a hard time for standing up to and beating Ron. Fair play to KL.
Absolutely right. If only some of his team mates has shown some solidarity and a bit of backbone, Martin might have been out already faced with a mass walkout.. Bad enough the non payment of wages but to take a hopeless case to appeal was just plain vindictive and has backfired on this disgrace of a chairman.

Immature reaction from Kacper on social media, but don't let that deflect blame from the real villain of the piece. It starts and ends with Ron Martin. His abysmal stewardship of the club. His passive-aggressive threats to the players. His selfishness and intransigence whilst chasing his personal dream. Lopata won't be the last to walk when the season ends and it's the fault of one man. Unless he can magic a rabbit out of the proverbial hat and structure a deal that's good for the club and not just for himself, pronto.

Fair point but he went when the players had finally been paid and that's why I was disappointed.

Ultimately yet another f up caused by our Chairman 😞
I think you'll find the court proceedings were initiated before the players were paid.
When that occurred, there was no guarantee wages would be paid and hadn't been for weeks before.

The case was set and around the same time, they were paid, funny that...

Kacper wasn't the only one to verbally hand in his notice before they got paid, but was the only one, as far as I know, that did it formally.

I wasn't paid on time last week and I didn't go off and sign for Chesterfield or Gillingham.

The call was from integrity and Kacper didn't pick up the phone.
Have you failed to be paid on time twice?

Do you work in a field where you know you can get another job, with pay on time, straight away?

Undoubted footballing talent.

Sadly lacking in class as an individual.

"Oh but it's Ron's fault, Kacper wasn't paid"

Agreed

Neither were 20 other players and they all stayed.

All of them.

He doesnt give a **** about us, or our club.

He'll start liking posts from the club when we concede a goal soon, just like he did at Sheffield United.

This will be my memory of him. Talented footballer who was a bit of an idiot.

Onwards and upwards.

It is definitely about time somebody stood up to Ron for not paying wages, however, the way Lopata has conducted himself throughout this period has been questionable of the person he is, or the agent he is taking instructions off! Saying bye to your team mates 45mins before a game is about to kick off is inexcusable on his part, he could have waited till the next training session. Followed by basically congratulating Brunt on scoring against Southend United. Its a kick in the teeth to both fans and team mates who no doubt now have a sour taste in their mouth with him! I have no issue with him sticking 2 fingers up at Ron though, as he deserves it!

Probably he was just about the only upwardly mobile member of the squad with a bright career ahead of him in the EFL. Difficult to see any of the others making the grade which probably accounts for their meek acceptance of being treated like dirt. We shall see at the end of the season no doubt if any get offers elsewhere.

Your posts are ****ing concerning. I think he's a bit of a melt, but I don't wish harm on him. I think you might need to talk through some issues,.
He better move to EFL clubs then, if he joined Chesterfield, I wish him nothing but a failure next season. It’s be interesting what kind of reputations he will get at Root Hall next season.
