As he just voted for a hard Brexit, Corbyn can kiss my arse goodbye. 1 less Labour supporter.
This does come back to the argument about which way he actually voted in the referendum.

That must leave about 7?
Remain, he campaigned for Remain and voted for Remain. This does come back to the argument about which way he actually voted in the referendum.
Remain, he campaigned for Remain and voted for Remain.
the actual stats are that he appeared at a lot of hustings, but the Tory infighting was a lot more interesting to the media. The £350m a week for the NHS verses WW3 and a punishment budget were much more newsworthy than the truth. Was it a silent campaign? I don't actually recall him opening his mouth and hearing words come out.....

Most people seem to be not too fussed that the person in charge of our leaving the EU (and wanting to not share any details on how she proposes to do that) was 1) in favour of Remain, and 2) very low key in the campaigning to do that. Different rules for the different party leaders I guess.
For context can you recalled anyone's memorable moments? As the thread is about Corbyn it is only correct to focus on him....
I don't remember much contribution at all from Corbyn....however assuming you're right and everyone else is wrong....can you share with us his most memorable moments . in order to put the record straight.
For context can you recalled anyone's memorable moments?
I recall Boris and Gove standing by the £350m bus. I recall Boris saying Obama must hate the Brits because he has Kenyan ancestors. I recall Farage standing in front of a poster of refugees who were not from the EU and going on about EU citizens with AIDS. I recall Cameron saying we'd have WW3 and Osborne saying he'd have to enact a punishment budget. And I recall Corbyn saying he was 7/10 happy with the EU.
Do you recall any more than that? I remember Sturgeon being quite concise in her arguments but I can't recall specifics she said.
As I stated, it was the dramatic announcements that got noticed, and not a lot of truth amongst them.
Both sides of the debate was in the whole presented as a disgraceful excuse for political debate.
at times we have interesting discussions, at others you revert to being patronising for no apparent reason, I answered your question with good grace, if you want to extend the discussion show some respect for fellow postersThere were many moments I remember ...Ruth Davidson for remain as an example....you make an excellent point about Sturgeon being memorable.
However my question wasn't about other Politicians....it was about Corbyn...please do try to concentrate on this, and share what was memorable about his support of Remain.

She wasn't party leader at the time.
My apologies AAS...if you feel patronised in anyway....it was a sincere attempt to get an answer on what Corbyns memorable moments were in the remain campaign, rather than other politicians... which appeared to me to be a way of diverting away from my original curiosity as to why Corbyn went unnoticed in the campaign.
What I would concede is that in many ways Corbyns style is low key and unspectacular....and he certainly doesn't go in for the kind of show boating that Boris and others do.
However our TV screen and Media were filled with politicians, many from both sides who did or said something in support of either Remain or Leave that can be remembered....that cannot be said of Corbyn.
It's hardly JC's fault, (as *** says), that the UK media weren't interested in his remain speeches up and down the UK (to packed meetings).Instead they preferred to focus on the Blue-on-Blue dogfight.
My answer remains the same - apart from the fat lies - no one was saying anything particularly memorable during the referendum. The reasons for staying and reasons for leaving were evident so specific wording used is not going to stick in my mind. There were many moments I remember ...Ruth Davidson for remain as an example....you make an excellent point about Sturgeon being memorable.
However my question wasn't about other Politicians....it was about Corbyn...please do try to concentrate on this, and share what was memorable about his support of Remain.
Calm as a boating lake, just requesting politeness that's all. Not very 2016 I know but I'm old fashioned.Calm down, ***! Now's not the time for fear. That comes later.
Socialist Worker wished they sold a few hundred thousand copies - I'd be surprised if it is as high as a few hundred. They are very few in number but good at handing over ready made placards to people at demonstrations so it looks like they have a big support. SWP is tiny. The press want to sell print and good stories about JC won't do that.
The only people who believe JC is any good are the blind few hundred thousand socialist worker readers and they won't be buying a Sun , Mirror or Mail so why would those rags waste print?
Now a bad story would get read...................
Such is the state of British "journalism" and the lack of broad appeal of the current unelectable, untrusted Labour party.

And yes, the Murdoch press and the Mail and the Telegraph will not print positive stories about Corbyn.
The two Remembrance services since he became leader are a good point of reference. Last year it was widely reported that his bow was not low enough but not widely reported that as the other political attendees went off to a swanky reception he stayed back for a long time to chat to the ex-servicemen. And this year The Mail was showing cropped footage of him 'dancing' and saying how inappropriate it was, until the uncropped photo emerged and you could see that his body was angled so that he could talk face to face to the 90 year old ex serviceman who was his guest for the service.
Begs the question why they need to make up this **** if he is so bad.
And the half a million Labour members have to get news from somewhere so often it's social media sharing amongst themselves as from the sales figures of the Socialist Worker they ain't going there and who in their right mind would want to read the hateful lies written in the likes of the Mail?
