Jeremy Corbyn's Labour

Must admit it I have never heard Jezza sing...is he really that good:winking:

Ha! Was talking with someone who worked with him in his Haringey council days, the other week. His singing didn't come up.

He does a good version of The Red Flag though. At least, (unlike many comrades), he knows the words.

Don't think we'll ever see him on Stricly, either.Thank God.

I tend to agree with Ken Livingston in that it was, fairly obviously, "a rigged report."

I assume you mean Shami Chakrabarti's report. Obviously a cross party report is about as independent as it gets.

The first step to dealing with an issue is accepting you have one. If you can't do that there's no hope.

This particular committee was mainly composed of Tories and "disaffected" Labour MP's, who'd voted against JC in the leadership contest.Far from being "independent" they all have a political axe to grind.

I'm aware this is an "issue" for you but it's not for me.Like JC, I don't have an anti-Semitic bone in my body.

As far as I'm concerned, there is a huge difference between anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism.For you there doesn't appear to be one at all.

Corduroy appointed someone to run an independent review. That person was then given a peerage during Camersum's exit, and after funnily enough finding no "real issue" in the Labour party. In the past Corduroy has said exit peerages shouldn't happen. Said person refuses to say when her peerage was first mooted. If that doesn't strike you as incompetent then I don't know what is.

I have no idea why you're bringing up the difference between anti-semitism and anti-zionism as it's simply not relevant to yet another instance of Corduroy incompetence.

Afternoon Tangled. Did you see dear old Emily Thornberry on Question Time, being booed by a left wing London audience. Yet again she chose to mock the working class. She really is an Embarrassment to the Labour Party.

They pick their audiences to be a cross section of the political spectrum I beleive - unlike that panel!
She made one ill judged comment which didn't make the point she was trying to make but it wasn't mocking the working class.

One I'll advised tweet and one I'll advised comment on QT - by MPs statements she is a saint - her counterpart in the government wrote a rhyme about the leader of Turkey being a ****** and said the US President must be anti British as he has some Kenyan relatives!

Really can't be arsed to start posting links of her displaying her most unlikable charm (as easy as it would be). Turkey is somewhere I wouldn't like to live under the present leadership as I believe in democracy and freedom.
I have to admire you for taking on any swipe at the Labour party. You are nothing if not consistent. I hardly agree with you on anything but fair play.
