I'm not saying that Corbyn would win a general election I just saying to people that make claims that he catagoricallyvcan not win elections that under his leadership Labour categorically have won elections and done it convincingly. Bristol and Sheffield were big wins and winning London after two terms of it being Tory - with a Muslim candidate being slated as a terrorist sympathiser in large sections of the press and by senior Tories in Parliament (not well reported but Fallon has paid out compensation for his slander) - people are conveniently saying these are despite Corbyn yet somehow he is to blame for everything that goes wrong - including Cameron losing Cameron's referendum.I'd say Labour won the London mayoral vote despite Corbyn rather than because of him. Still, it was on his watch, so it can't be used as a stick with which to beat him.
Elections in Sheffield and Bristol...be still my beating heart! But again - fair play.
For me, the below average results in the local elections were more indicative of where the British public see Jeremy Corbyn.
You think he could feasibly be elected as PM of this country I think he hasn't a cat in hell's chance. I am sure we can agree to disagree.
(PS I'm with you on Boris. He's like a kid who has wet the bed and is now refusing to get of that bed in the hope that it dries and no-one notices the smell. Man's a ****.)
What is honourable about ****ing up then quiting the very next day and leaving the **** for someone else to clear up?Agree wholeheartedly with this.
Camerscum has proved himself to be the ****wit I always said he was, but he has done the honourable thing.

More like a suicide bomber! He fell on his sword.

Refusing to say how he voted on what?Maybe, but at least he realised he screwed up, and resigned.
Meanwhile Corbyn is apparently refusing to say how he voted.
Refusing to say how he voted on what?
He was probably door stepped and refused to answer like he always does. Secret ballot so no one knows how anyone voted really.According to the Press there is speculation that he voted leave in the referendum.

Nigel had said in advance he would request a 2nd referendum if it was close - maybe he wanted to keep an option to change his mind like when he resigned the leadershipI reckon Boris, Nigel and Gove might have voted Leave, but it is only a guess as the press haven't asked them.

Regardless of the number of front bench resignations from Labour MPs it is now clear that Corbyn has absolutely no intention of resigning as leader of the party. As he rightly says, the party membership put him where he is. What the rest of the Labour leaning voting population make of it all will only become obvious at GE time if the status quo is maintained. 28 of his front bench colleagues resigning does seem a bit high, but what do I know.
It is quite crystal clear that the core Northern city Labour vote backed Leave. Obviously the North London branch of Socialist Worker has rather forgotten about them and has been kicked in the teeth as a result.
Sorry you've lost me here. What's the Leave vote got to do with how folk may vote at a GE?
I'd suggest that...
Many people voted Leave as they felt 'the establishment' (whatever that means) don't give two hoots about them and are incapable of addressing their concerns.
Similarly, many people have drifted away from Labour as they don't feel the party is addressing their concerns.
Thanks, but I really didn't think it was that difficult to work out.
