I think you could give PB 200 players and he would still not know how to set a team up to play to each others strengths and natural positions.

I know we have a team of old crocks etc but surely even amongst the squad we have you can't keep making excuses..

His purchases his team no matter how many you add to the squad. I await the latest transfer news with baited breath.
 
Nine goals in 394 games, when are we going to invest in a central defender who can get a few goals from free kicks or corners. Most successful teams have such a player.
 
We are hardly an attractive proposition at the moment. Anyone coming in will probably be an unwanted journeyman or a kid. That’s the problem with being down the wrong end of the table and why it is so hard for teams to get out of trouble once in it.
