I honestly think that the signing of Nouble is the replacement for Ranger. With Mooney back soonish we'll have 4 strikers for the rest of the season. I doubt we'll bring anyone else in

Nouble for Ranger is a bit like Bruno for Tyson. Not a fair exchange in my book.

CP now confirms:
Mavididi has chosen Charlton.
Samuels will go to Brentford or Barnsley.
Ajose has chosen Swindon.
Eoin Doyle was another target but he's going to Portsmouth.
Inniss has returned to full training so a defensive signing is highly unlikely.

So does that mean there is one left?

I think this is the most depressing post I have seen in a long time. The mention of Mooney sends shivers down my spine!

Didn't expect this one; Ziggy Gordon [Partick Thistle - Jagiellonia Bialystok] Free

Looks like we won't be signing a defender as Innis has been given the green light to return.

According to CP, Inniss returning so search for a defender is off the cards. Meanwhile our attacking targets are disappearing quicker than Donald Trump can write bans.

I like Innis, I hope he fills that role, I wonder if the lack of strikers will mean (pending the FAs decision on Ranger) that we stick by him.......

Lee Novak, who we wanted in the summer, has gone to Oxford

Edit- no he hasn't, I'm an idiot falling for stupid Twitter pages

Are 3 centre backs really enough? If two of them get injured (which doesn't seem too unlikely with their fitness records) we're in trouble, especially without the option to bring in loans outside of the window now.
