Jack Bridge is training with Bournemouth.
Good for him. Has huge potential and isn't getting any opportunities here.

Although I was told that they were among the clubs to show an interest in the summer and the club told them they wanted £500k for him.

So they should do especially as Lookman went for £10m.

The last few comments sum it up nicely though. Brown likes a 'name' - someone who's done it before and played at a higher level, rather than a kid with potential. Mourinho's the same - no kid's going to play in his team. And what's he won?

It's Nicky Ajose at Charlton.

Can't see it happening, 6 in 21 this season since joining for £800,000.

That said, he was left out of their 18 last weekend despite being fully fit and available and he seems to have been linked with a move away this month...
Pretty sure I read somewhere that Charlton are looking to send him out on loan so that they can see how he does at another club and then reassess his future in the summer.

If I was a Charlton fan, I'd be a little annoyed that my club would be willing to send a big money signing on loan to a promotion rival. Great for us however!
Make no mistake about it, it would be one hell of a signing.

Seems like Ajose would be brought in to provide competition for Simon Cox. At 5'6" Ajose is unlikely to be used upfront with Cox.

Would be pleased with this if true and if we managed to pull it off. Everyone's been clambering for us to sign Matt Smith but we already have Nouble as a big lump up front, and we still don't know what's happening with Ranger although it obviously doesn't look good.

What we should be looking for in this striker signing is a finisher, someone who can help and compete with Cox and get us some goals. Nouble and Ranger can do all the donkey work, winning flick ons and bringing midfielders into play.

It's a shame we couldn't play them side by side because my god the goals would flow! Browns tactics will always require a big ST to hold up play

Not that we see it much, but a 4-3-3 formation, with Cox, Ajose & Fortune wouldn't be too bad. Fortune is good at holding up play. Yes, Ranger is better, but looks like we've seen the last of him unfortunately.

We were woeful with that formation with Ranger instead of Ajose only a few weeks ago against Sheffield United.

Way too narrow, need some width. Anyway, on our current form, why would we look to change the formation?
