Hints and innuendos don't really help very much, do they. Please be more explicit, or is this another 'if you knew what I know' attempted teaser.

This is a football forum....They thrive on hints, innuendos, teasers mixed with some fun (for those they don't wallow in misery)

If its all to much and upsetting for you then why not stick to the official club website or read some more 10 page mission statements from dozens of other league clubs.

The joy of football is absolutely nothing is guaranteed before you head off to the game. Its not guaranteed before you even kick a ball and its not even guaranteed when your 2 or 3 goals up..... Its the same on a forum.

By the way only thing worse than people who share inside knowledge are the ones who always sneer and anyone who does. Then demand some sort of proof and when they get it they slide away without a reply......We are not in a court of law, its a forum,....a place for idol chat....a place to not cloud your football judgement because of you political views.

I personally can't stand people who post one line abusive stuff about certain players or mangers. When history tells me they are in no position to judge. Plus i have seen damage that causes and have dealt with some players families.

I would rather the zone rise above ****ter or face book nonsense but if i want to come on here then I have to except it. You have to except that some of us are only interested in Southend couldn't give a f*** what the Posh people are up to with regards to off field activities. Nor Gillingham or anyone else for that matter.

That Belgian geezer who just sold Charlton was on the radio a month or so back saying how the Championship is the most expensive league in the world to be in, as the amount you need to spend to be remotely competitive vastly outweighs the amount you get back in ticket sales & TV money etc. He estimated even for a decent sized club like Charlton you have to budget to lose around £15m a year just to stand still. So you either find a very rich owner who's not afraid to splash the cash to get you to the PL and its riches ala Bournmouth, or you accept you won't be there more than a season or so before coming back down. So for clubs like us its really a pipe dream to survive for long at that level. We either accept L1 & 2 is our home, or hope for a rich Russian who confuses us with Southampton..

Which is why, in my opinion, the way football is now run, the Premiershite and the hegemony of SKY (not necessarily in that order) totally stinks.

In the grand scheme of things, it’s totally irrelevant though.

Sure, it’d be nice to have better communication between the club and us. Granted.

But the club can say whatever they want, without any form of recourse at all. So it’s a lovey idea in principle, but almost pointless in reality.

It’s like a sprig of garnish on a steak dinner. It’s not important, doesn’t change anything, but gives you something to look at.

In the grand scheme of things just to let you know that a meaningful guiding corporate mission statement makes or breaks great Companies, ask Amazon ?

We are in a completely different situation to Peterborough, at the mercy of a small time property speculator rapidly running out of wriggle room. Chickens coming home to roost etc.

There aren't many that have put themselves in the (shop) window.
Theo? other Div2 clubs may fancy taking him on an 18 month contract.
Elvis? maybe, young man has something and will improve.
Hutch? possibly, he will bulk up and add to his good forward and dead ball play.
Kelman? very much on many team's radar, setting a price would be a challenge and would have likely interesting and multiple extra payment clauses.
Hopper? yes, known player, good addition to any Div1 team.
Hump? yes, if, maybe, needs to be mentally driven to get best and then he could be Championship quality if adds consistency and concentration.
Outsiders to be bought? Macca? playing well now. Demi? known quantity & value for 18months?
