We'll only get people in by letting people go. Expect to see one or two big earners leave. Maybe offer Theo permanently to Colchester if we're still paying some wages.

We have an option to keep him on loan for the rest of this season, so I think if he stays with us as seems likely, we will extend his loan and then sign him on a free when his contract expires in the summer.

Can't see why Colchester would agree to that if there's no recall clause, they'll be able to sign him in the summer anyway for free.

Not sure we can with Milligan, he has a two year deal, second being as a coach

He signed for an initial one year. There is an option for a second year. There is also a separate option for him to join the coaching staff for at least 2 years, which I assume would be triggered if and when BOTH parties want it. I would suggest there’s a good chance that neither option will be taken up by the club.

Just sign a whole midfield. 2 central midfielders and 2 wingers.

Let Mantom, Hyam and Milligan go. All 3 are garbarge

Know emmanuel osadebe's brother, chi. He played for my mates at witham Town and played for us at priory sports in the fa Sunday cup. Trying to find out if this one is likely, I remember emmanuel at Cambridge I wouldn't say he particularly impressed me footballing wise but he is a hard worker and a bit of a beast, think he'd improve us.

And who is going to be silly enough to want any of our players .
More to the point, who is going to be able to afford to take our players, at least the ones we need to move out?

Cox, Kiernan, Demitriou, Milligan, Shaughnessy, Oxley, McLaughlin, Mantom, Hyam, Ridgewell... all high or reasonalbly high earners and none have given a return on that investment.

There is no point in sending them off if we are paying their wages... there's also no point in paying off the contracts as that would be an immense financial outlay now as opposed to being spread over the rest of this and next season (where applicable).

I reckon we could easily offload Elvis, Kelman and possibly even Hutchinson... they are all young enough to guarantee a minimum transfer fee as they are under 25.

I wonder if Ron's big worry is if some of our over-paid, under-performing squad don't have relegation pay-cut clauses? Cant afford those on a League 2 budget.

Would imagine money is very tight. After all very few home games between 1st November and 31st January. Very little income and wages still to pay.

Assuming Elvis is off how much is he worth?

His name alone has to be be worth £50k.

When his signing was announced and they talked about him becoming a coach they explicitly mentioned the academy. If the club were looking to off-load him as a player they'd probably just bring forward the coaching plans but as it is he's still getting playing and I think only Elvis and Dieng have played more under Sol. Compare that to Cox, Oxley, Kiernan etc

Sol after today's game: 'Could be five coming in or none, I really don't know'.
